So, I notice (as have others) that they are going live today with the latest patch and yep, all that hard work fell on deaf ears and they are still implementing the harvesting changes as first proposed... despite all the excellent work, excellent arguments and rock solid data that people generated to prove the flaws in the system.

So what do we do now? I'd be interested in what people are planning to do while we continue to fight this particular injustice but have to do so from a live situation where the changes are already in play.

Which option you will go for?

1. Refuse to group at all, ever

2. Agree to group but demand XX% of their harvest as payment

3. Agree to group but demand cash as payment

4. Agree to group but only with good friends

5. Agree to group with any old joe (the squill hunt model) and ignore the lack of love... lie back and take it.

I'll now group with guildies when they ask and not turn them down like I did in the past with the penalty in the game.

As I do not group up with random persons for anything anyway (Too many idiots around to waste my time ever again on a "pickup group") I won't start doing this now (I wouldn't have started under any circumstances

).

I used to hunt solo, but now I will try to find a 0040 or master ranger to group with. It will be a new kind of spam in Coronet:

/shout looking for a master ranger to group with to hunt avian.

I have a feeling you'll be waiting a long time. Most Rangers are aggrieved at some parts of this change so don't expect much help.

Yeah I sure feel a bit agrieved, but if I can find a master ranger to hang out with so we both get +40% and work well together then great.

I personally will now be ignoring more tells I think... "come find me xyz for my pajama quest, I'll pay you 50k creds", will now be joined by, "I have scout/ranger skillscos I'm a BH/scout dabbler and I want you to come so I can grind through even more harvest with my uber combat template"

I may have to hotkey /addignore in some way

the ONLY people I will group with are guildies... and I am ROYALLY PO'ed that the devs ask us, pratically BEG us to help with us this, and then say "thank you, we didn't need your help or input anyways."

Well, it was "us" (not me as you maybe remember) who actually wanted skillboxes have any impact on the group bonus. It would have been all fine with just the initial "20% for everyone no matter who has which skills" version.

Hopefully this will teach ppl not to ask for "more" about an initial not-so-bad minor part of a big publish, as any problems then coming up are obviously ignored because it's just a minor part in a publish.

For me... joining with good friends only (since most of them are MR)

Some are not, but then again for friendship I will help.

Strangers? No way... they can get my /addIgnore instead. Even if they were to pay millions on before hand.

It's a principle I stick with.

Maybe we get our own private tell-hell, characteristic to so many other professions when search enabled or carrying our tags. The wildest thing could be if we can start an amusing 'idiot tells' thread like smuggler forum.

I am all tingly waiting to see what happens when I log and how soon (in matter of weeks I guess, not many read patch notes, least of all l337 kiddies)scouts and dabblers start begging. I vision major opportunities torp'ing an obnoxious ass-hat.

Hey, it is a change and it affects us, at least I am interested to see what happens.

I think I will group with guildies for sure. I am not sure how others are going to react to the change and if they will seek out the master rangers for the bonuses. Only time will tell. I wonder if I can group with my pet and get the bonus?
