Maybe there is one of these, and I'm just missing it, but I had a thought the other day while I was selling some meat to a client.
Why is there no calculator built into this game? It's hard to calculate 55cpu of 11287 units. I had to exit to windows cause I didn't have a personal calc handy. I can't imagine it would be that difficult to code a basic number pad, and 4 major math functions into the game somewhere.
I'm sure this has been brought up, but since I'm relatively new, I thought I would give my two cents.
Thanks

THis idea has never been brought up in the Ranger forum (as far as I know). My buds and I were even discussing the whole calculator thing on teamspeak lat night. Small world.

I can't believe this has never been brought up? I am a fairly new Master Ranger, and thatwas my first contract to harvest mass product for someone, and it was my first thought when trying to sell it.
Anyway, if any devs are watching, come on, it's gotta be the easiest thing you've ever been asked to code!!!

This wouldnt just benefit us. Everytime i do a factory run as an AS. I have to alt-tab to the calc. And im sure this would be an easy addition to the game.
Bonus points to you. And now for Calc to get this to "The powers that be" (tm) To get it put in game

I did bring this up in the corr forum...I don't think it will ge tto far, but you never know as the devs like to throw in some quirky stuff every now and then.

Well i cant imagine it would take that much dev resources to do. And it would benefit all classes including their beloved jedi (who are crafters to afterall. And do a lot of large purchases). So i would think it might show up sooner then later. Plus testing on TC would be kind of easy wouldnt it?

"To stupid Devs - Your calculator sucks the big fat hairy ones. I cant do my homework while grinding camps with my offline macro using it. And dont you think you could have added a simple root key? Wheres my TI-82 functions? You be teh sukc. Do it right next time"
Ah those good time threads

*looksdesk completely over and see's paper and pencil*
Young whipper-snappers, needing calculators! The shame of it all!
Actually I always split my resources to sell down into even numbers. It saves alot of strain on the brain, and keeps alot of eraser shavingsoff ofmy desk. Take the left overs to start my next hunting session, or if that resource shifts I use it for my personal stims, camps, etc.
I forgot to add that this is a great idea, and it would be a great addition.
Edit for: forgetfullness

I'vealways known that my time in college would not be wasted, especially since I have to have a handy dandy TI-83+ for every math and science class that I'm required to take (trust me thats a lot). That calculator never leaves my side so i've always just used that to calculate different things.
Besides this issue has never even crossed my mind while playing, but good luck trying to get the devs to anything constructive

hey fodder try going into the tools menu in the corner of your hud screen and select interface. check the box to allow your windows key that works too although i have seen keyboards for off brand laptops that dont have a windows key. that seems to be a little more stable for me but really the easiest way to remedy the problem is the next time your ol lady drags you out shopping to the dollar store drop a buck on a cheapo calculator.
