Thread: What Ranger template do you use?

Hello rangers of the galaxy, I have decided to make my zabrak alt a master ranger. Yet I cannot decide on what combat tree to go up (I read the FAQs). So I was just wondering what everyone uses. I am mainly going ranger for the creature harvests to make money. But sounds like alot of fun what with the camo and the high-tech camps.

Master Ranger | Master Carbineer , currently with Novice CH instead of Novice Medic.
Put down a camp, tell my bantha to stay in it, then I work my way to my target area with my little harvest/trap droid and ranger-hunt away

I am presently TKM, 0-4-4-0 Doc And scout 3-0-4-0. This template is working great for me presently as a Ranger.
Seems that alot of people are looking for other methods to make money now that solo groups are nerfed all to hell. I am just waiting for a good spawn of something to appear on my servers trade forums. Then, I will use my droid and veghash to rake in some more cash.

Used to be a MPistoleer/MRanger, but now am a MRifleman/MRanger. Also have novice Medic.

I am the exception..... I have NEVER used a DOT pike, ever !

hmmm....that's odd, I just heard a voice. I think it said "stay on target"....
anyway, back to the original post:
TKM/Ranger works well
as does Rifleman/Ranger/CH
you use the pet as a tank and you blast it from far away.

Most efficient templateI ever used was MasterSwords, TK 4000,Ranger0040(although there may have been some wayfaring also). This is a great unbuffed template.
Currently I am Master Rifles/Master Ranger/ Novice medic and this is extremely effective too. This also is a great unbuffed template.
Pick something you enjoy doing and your game experience will be vastly more rewarding.

Gout is a Master Ranger/ Riflewook
Corpse Run is a Master Ranger/ Master Swordsman
Ty'ler Bastian is a Carbineer/ Ranger (still being developed)
But i've been a tkm/ranger and a pistoleer/ranger and i want to try mch/ranger

I think all combat professions can works well enough with master ranger. So what I would advice you to is chose the one you enjoy the most. If you are going to run around harvesting a lot of resources you will be killing a lot of animals, and that means a lot of combat. You might as well choose the style of combat you fine the most fun.
