Thread: Jedi whine, accuse, then die. A sad tale. Or not.

So there I was, no crap... (hint, this is a war story, of sorts)
I am out killing Krayts for fun, XP and profit. I had just dropped #5 when the Insane Imperial Ranger - Karimicu's - tells me. He related that a Jedi accused him of exploiting the well known trap as Kari - MR / MBH - was out soloing Krayts and the Jedi - master fisherman or baiter -not sure what - was unable to do the same. After a laugh or three I got back to business. Ok, the actual line was about whiney Jedi.
I then take on another in a string of soon to be dead Krayts. Merely a Grand, not an Ancient. One third of the way through a Jedi pops in on a speeder. I start to get tells saying he is going to report me for exploiting. I reply that 5 tells in 2 minutes is harrassment and he can either quit or explain it to a CSR.
Jedi boy says "Fine, harvest this" and proceeds to attempt - key word there - to steal my kill. Hey, no problem Lightbright boy. I will back off. Oh wait, when I back off and quit combat the snare effect releases and the Krayt moves. Rut ro Rorge!!
Yes boys and girls, said Jedi got ate. Messily. Quickly. Like 2 hits worth and lunch was over for Mr. Krayt. I laughed, I cried, I went back and finished off the dragon (some Jedi had not cloned in a nearby town - he had to go to Mos Entha). Then to add insult to injury, I looted a pearl.
There isbalance in the game. Of sorts.
A remember, don't mess with Rangers. Oh, and my secondary mission nowadays is to hunt Jedi boy down. Guess he missed the MBH in my bio. Tant pis pour him.
Sigh, a Ranger's work is never done.

stupid RL work is getting in the way of my new Krayt eradication program too.

That story made my morning. It's a shame that in this game-for the most part-Jedi = Arrogance.
I'm reasonably sure that attitude problems weren't supposed to be a trait of the Jedi in Star Wars. Oh well....

The attitude problems fit the anakin mold from ep1-3 quite well actually.

Leaving aside the Jedi bit, how does MBH compare to Master Rifles? I'm having trouble making up my mind, and until I do, I can't get my badge for CorSec Pilot...

Wow, that was pure ironic justice.
That comment about 5 tells in 2 minutes sure shut him up, didn't it?
