Wow, whata grind this time around. The trapping experience for Scout, and moreso Ranger, was dreadful! I know there is probably a better way to do it, but I like grinding in groups so it took me a long time to finish Ranger trapping (13 hours to be exact).
Anyway, I'm here to stay this time around. Oh and if anyone on Eclipse needs help getting the current Naboo Bristley Hide, fire me a tell. I've been working it the last two days with my Jedi tanking and my Ranger harvesting. Makes for a good time!

Oh and a quick question. I took one of my characters Ranger / BH, Squad Leader 0003. Good idea?

Welcome back to the fold. Good to see ya again (this is the permanatly-invited Jedi who made an excellent post on the Jedi forums...that sadly got deleted due to other people). If ya ever need a huntin partner, my IGN is Phe'nix and S'phynx on Eclipse.

I'd go MBH/Master Ranger SL 0300. Volley fire + KD = 35% damage increase, and you get an additional 30 ranged and melee defense in that line.

i agree with Phenix, if you're gonna grab any Squad Leader, grab those boxes for the added Melee/Ranged defense for yourself.
also, that's a great screencap in your signature. (even though i HATE Tatooine, and would much rather be on Endor or Yavin)

is that from after the lighting change patches?
if not, make sure you head back to Kashyyyk. it looks absolutely beautiful with the new lighting changes.
in spite of all the bugs in the game, i've got to give the devs credit, they certainly know how to make beautiful scenery. i look forward to seeing the scenery on Mustafar. it'll be the exact opposite of Kashyyyk. Kashyyyk is a jungle world teeming with Flora and Fauna. but mustafar will be Mining Instalations, Mountains, Rocks, Lava rivers, mining equipment, and lots of other darker, more industrialized stuff. i think it'll look great.

I think I took that shot about two months ago. I'll have to go back and try it again with the lighting changes.
And you're right, this game is beautiful. When it launched, I lived on Naboo up until June 2004. Then I moved to Tatooine and had been there until two months ago. Now I'm back in Naboo, and with my own city this time on the very spot I first put a house down in the game (beautiful area outside of Keren - my sig has the waypoint of the area). I have a much better machine this time around than I did when I was first on Naboo, so now the planet just looks that much better. I'm very happy to be there.

do you actually play the game with shadows turned on, or is that just for screencaps?
i've got a pretty high-end comp, and i lag like crazy with shadows on.
my comp's specs:
3.4 Ghz Pentium 4 with hyperthreading
2 Gb RAM
256 Mb eVGA nVidia GeForce Video Card
i can have most of the graphic detail turned all the way up, and i play fine, but as soon as i check that shadows box, it just kills my computers performance.

I need to get a new box... those load times are killing me. I lived on Lok for the longest time, right near the volcano... and loved it.
one of the best things about this game is truly the visual immersion, its just a beautiful game.

The best part of my computer is that it takes 5 seconds to load Adobe Photoshop CS. It used to take up to a minute for it to load.

i've got a screencap of me and a buddy beating up a Kimo inside the crater.
