There have been quite a few new Rangers popping up on Chilly, just to let you know.

I never noticed any Rangers around until I decided to become one. I think it is all in your mind

I had a hard time finding the improvements to Rangers, I would not have even known about them if not for coming to this board.

I haven't noticed a lot more people being Rangers, but I have noticed the sudden burst of interest in our profession. Today I must have gotten at least 20 tells from random strangers saying "have you heard about the new ranger stuff? you guys are lucky!" Anyway, I don't mind the extra attention, I like the idea of us being more useful, popular, in demand. I think come these changes, we will see a moderate upswing in Ranger population, however, I don't think everyone will be jumping on the Ranger bandwagon, we will see though.

i never noticed more jetta's on the road until i wanted to buy one....i never noticed more ford rangers on the road until i bought one, haha.

it does seem that i have seen a slight increase in ranger/scout population as of late. On average you see one or two people camping outside the starport on lok, now i see at leats 4 every night. **edit** survival xp, its great fun to throw up my high tech field base kit and answer the same question a million times...."whats that laser thing around your mini-city?"

The Jetta comment was so true.

I only noticed because of all the new ones I had to train. I think it's a good sign actually. It says that people believe that we are going be a cool class someday and they want in. How can that be a bad thing?

There isn't going to be a unique or less popular profession in about a month anyways. All the powergamers maxxed out their professions a month ago, and everyone else will catch up soon.

Kyal, swing by Keren or Kaadraa on Naboo sometime. You could drop a base camp and I'll bring the jawa beer. I know for sure of 4 Master's, a few up and comers and a handfull of novice. Its gonna eb and low like waves for a bit.

Heres how I see it; This game is basically new still, people are testing out various professions to see where they fit in. Eventually after a time people will settle into a profession and a set way of playing their character. I have seen this already in a few of the groups I have been in. I'm the ranger/scout guy, we had a Squad Leader, a Smuggler and a Medic on Lok the other night. We did fairly well and it was known that I would be the camp/harvest guy, the medic knew her job and all the rest. Once people are defined in their rolls it will be much more fun in groups. In larger groups there is always going to be more of one class where a /harvest order needs to be in place etc.

I'd tend to agree with Flik and RECON. I just made Novice Ranger yesterday, and had two people ask ME to train them. So I think a lot of Master Scouts are just hitting that level. It could be, however, that after reading the posts, that they decided on Novice Ranger instead of BH or whatever.

I myself have wanted to be a Ranger for sometime and that was before I started visiting these boards. Didn't really know what I was getting into . There are only two other Rangers in my guild so I think that given our size that that is a pretty good ratio.

Anyway I am glad I stuck with the Ranger goal. GLad to be on board with you faithful folk!

Anyone notice since Holo's post the huge spike in Rangers?

Ahazi, where there used to be like 8-10 rangers, and maybe 3-4 masters, now seems flooded with them. I ran around for about 10 minutes and trained like 5 people.

Are rangers destined to be the new *Uber* class? Or at least the official replacement for the CH skills the BH were taking?

For a class that even Squad Leaders were snickering at a week ago, we sure became the new popular kid in town...

I haven't seen much change on Sunrunner, but I haven't been looking for it either. As far as Squad Leaders laughing at us, they're not now. They're actually complaining that when our new abilities come around, that they'll be "useless" as we'll be the new group leaders. I hope they get their report soon. I think they need a cheer - up.
