I try to remain at my keyboard when I camp, but sometimes when I have to go afk, I use that opportunity to camp since I am trying to make my way up the Frontiering line. But you make some good points so I will endeavor to always be present when I camp.

Im in no way saying that to go away from the Computer to do reallife things is a bad thing. Heck I have Kids and a wife. But when you see one go down after and back up and you stop to say Hi. And get nothing. And there droid is Crying for power. This is the Sad thing i speak. If you wish to play that way Im in noway Faulting you for it. You pay to play as I do.

Yup. All my camping was at the keyboard. I made a LOT of contacts that way.

Be fair. When I reached ranger 4244 I posted here asking for practical uses for camps. A wise person pointed to terra-forming and camps are good for that. Someone else said to pop out pet/droid without a 15 sec delay a camp is useful. Everyone else said that as the game stands camps are useless.

On the ranger/Ranger theme, anyone else notice newbies killing wortts now do it buffed - how wierd is that?

One day, I was in the middle of frontiering 3 way back when. That sure was a lucky day for me. Camping outside of AH has never been better.

There happened to be a hiccup in the game, a quite nice one. There were spawns of endless imperial npc's and bases and all kind of stuff to kill for rebels EVERYWHEREYOU LOOKEDjust outside of the walls of AH. So, once word got around, a hundred people are running amok, killing everything they saw. easy faction points, people got tons of it quick. just blasting everything they saw. lucky me was sitting with a big ol smile on my face as 20-30 people would pile into my field base throughout the exploit when they got ruffed up. I just kicked back and watched the exp roll in. Made a bunch of future friends and business partners for the future too.

It was great

I keep my Tracker tag up and I'm 4/3/4/4. I'm no one line wonder. I am however poor. If someone wants to pay me to track something, I'm happy for the money.

I don't have armor and I don't get buffs. I pay tax and upkeep on my small house and fix my swoop when it gets banged up. I'm a novice rifleman now, so I have started to buy brandy. I also buy myself stim-Bs and pet stims for my pets. I don't need 100 million credits, but it's nice to have actually broken 1 million this week for the first time.

Don't assume someone's 0/0/4/0 just because they call themselves a tracker. Of course, I should expect such close-minded arogant behavior from you, right? You are an Imperial. All Imps are like that, aren't they? "And i have No quams saying this to them when i see them."

That's kind of harsh. I'm currently a 2-4-4-4 Ranger, and well on my way to that 3rd box of Wayfaring at my own Ranger-ly pace. I keep my Tracker tag up because I don't MIND helping folks track things if they are polite about it. Why not? I don't see anything wrong with being a Tracker vs one of the many other tags I currently qualify for. I hunt a lot, mostly for things I track myself. So I definitely consider myself a "tracker" in the RP sense as well. If the shoe fits....

Any way we could convince the Devs to give us back the Hunt Master tag? I miss the Hunt Master tag. And it would get rid of all the Trackers.

In all seriousness, though, is there any way of getting the old title back? I know that a lot of Rangers preferred Hunt Master to Tracker (I seem to remember it being the Bounty Hunters who were taking the tracking tree for tracking that really fought for that change). Tracker is not a bad title but Hunt Master was so much better.
