its nice to have a pet to keep you company in your camp. it can get really lonely with noone around for a month. but good luck, have a great adventure! (bikes are for losers!)

Remember to bring clean underwear, a couple changes of clothing, a good book, and a lot of extra batteries for your MP3 player

Can I have your stuff?

The chances that you will make are slim and none and Slim left town.

Endor will eat you up, spit you out and then laugh. No medic? You are one dead puppy. Only thing you will continously see is the inside of a cloner. Of course, your sig is dated, but you never have mentioned medic.

Seriously, I would include a boatload of stims, at least two crates, and some heals as well. If you don't have medic, get it. Droids would be nice. Pets you can find there and grow em as you go. Droid batteries. Food buffs too.

Don't get me wrong, I love Endor. My favorite hunting spot, bar none. But it is a tough place to play. Stay maskscented, don't make the Ewoks mad and you should have a blast.

a mobile phone and a credit card are always handy for those emergency pizza deliveries .... if you can find a company to deliver on Endor ..... but they've probably got the Ewoks set up with a franchise I suspect lol

I wander around on Endor all the time with no buffs or armor. As long as you don't plan to fight too much you should be fine. It also helps if the Ewoks like you. Just be careful and you will be fine.

My quick tip for Endor, which I personally love to range and hunt on:

If you find yourself aggro'ed by a nasty train of beasties, run into the nearest body of water (river, lake, etc). I have found that many critters on Endor arevery slow moving in water and sometimes even skittish, and you will almost always outrun them. This has saved me from some really mean pig-dogs and money-spiders many times.

This is hardly so. I was a ranger/rifleman myself, never used buffs and never died during my hunts. Rangers die only from old age or when they don't care if they live.

In hard situations I used Neutron Pixie drug (health enhancement). It is good for several minutes during which you can not only save yourself, but also kill your target. Used to use Pixie + brandy combination to kill Ancient Bull Rancors.

Also if youjust run (not burst run)from whatever is chasing you for a little while it will leave you alone (works on rancors too). Need mask scent or camo for this, but sometimes works without them.

Edited to add this:

Good hunting Julak, have a good time!

I work like this too. I don't go for as long as a month, but I do go off on my own for long periods.

This is the kit I always carry with me:

  • Crates of traps (I use g-wire, p-dart, spur, noise, flash, sonic)

  • A couple of K of hide, bone and metal so I can make camps.

  • I pre-make crate loads of camo for wherever I'm going.

  • I couple of crates of B-stims

  • A crate of brandy

  • A crate of ahrisa

  • A couple of Canape's

  • LOTS of rifles
I carry: Spray stick, bowcaster, SG82, Jawa rifle, T21, Laser Rifle and DXR-6B. I also carry a spare DXR-6B, anda spare T21 if my current one is low enough (incase they fall apart when I repair them).

  • Three different suits of armour (I'm wookiee, so I have ceremonial, black mountain and hunting).
I havea mouse storage droid, which always carry's two of my suits, then I have one in use in my inventory. I change what's current depending what I'm up against. I also try not to use armour whenever I can. I tend to just slip it on if I accidentally take aggro.

  • Other food stuff, blue milk, jawa beer, Antila

  • Several pre-crafted camps (I usually do a HTFB, FB and Improved camp)

  • Some wookiee clothes.

  • Droid batteries

  • Droid stims/repair kits

  • Weapon repair kits

  • Armour repair kits

  • Pet food and stims (for my lvl10 kaadu mount)

Then in my data pad I have:

  • +106 Harvesting R3 droid

  • R3 Adv Combat droid

  • R2 Scout droid (harvest/trap/combat)

  • 'Mouse' Storage droid (my mobile armour locker)

  • "Quack" my Kaadu

  • Vehicles: Swoop, Speeder Bike, X34 (I mostly hike, rest of the time use the swoop. Keep the speeder bike as a back up in case something eats my swoop. X34 is kept for sentimental value as it was my first vehicle I got in my trial!)

I've probably left something out, I don't travel light! However, I always make sure I've got enough stuff to cover me for all sorts of emergencies. Add to this I carry stuff by the crate load, so if I do want to disappear for a long time,I can.

Ihave a question about logging out on adventure planets. I'm always afraid of coming back into the game in the middle of an aggro spawn and getting killed while loading. If you log out in a camp, does that give you some kind of protection against coming back into the game sitting on a Rancor lair? If not, I htink that should be a feature we rangers need.

BTW, I LOVE Endor. It is by far my favorite planet to be on. But it definitley is not for newbies. I'm a maste rifleman so I don't really have any problems there. But I see that the OP is a 3rd tier marksman. If that is still the case, Endor will KILL you and kill you fast - I guarantee it.

I always prefer Yavin 4. I like the planet better because it is a jungle versus a decidous forest. But endor overall is teeming with way more diverse life.

For logging out, you are usually safe for a bit when you log in. I have logged in surrounded by red dots but they don't seem to attack me right away. Usually I have enough time to put up maskscent and crawl out of the spawn.

Endor will only kill a Ranger if they are not careful. I've walked around on Endor for a very long time without even getting agroed. I wouldn't recommend hunting on Endor as a third tier marksman if you want to live forever but you can definately explore the place. You don't even need maskscent if you don't want it (but I recommend using it--sometimes the reds spawn right on top of you). NPCs can be a bit more of a problem but you should be able to manage wandering around without too much trouble.
