Empty right now, but here's what I would like to see:
Plant explosives on animals. Using superior stealth and intricate knowledge of animal physiology, the master ranger can insert methantriggered explosive to animals body openings, or otherwise convienient entryways.
That krayt dragon beating you down? fear not! Now you can lure their small ones to you, promptlypush a specialmade nuclear detonator into its rectum and send it back to its mom and dad. It'll be a blast!
Could probably add some interesting pvp for those pesky petmasters.

ummmmm....I'm at a loss for words here, people. All I can say is I'm glad that at the point I'm writing this the author the author has only 11 posts.
somebody else reply to this, I'm still unable to think of which of the thousands of replys I could use on this would fit best.

ranger trapping is horrible, it's not that effective sadly. That whole branch needs to be revamped, along with most of Ranger lol

How about allowing rangers to feed the animals with certain chemicals that make them produce enormous amoungts of gas, then... deny then relief, and have them beeing 100% natural and enviroment friendly high explosive suiside bombs?

I beg to differ,
I have many uses for traps. For example, I'm also a fencer (for the time being) I've found that my blind attack doesn't work the best on rancors, so I decided to try out traps. More often than not, the blind on the bone spur works out much better/faster/easier than my fencer counterparts. Even after spamming area attack the entire battle, sometimes blind won't hit. With traps, I rarely, if ever miss.
Other traps, depending on the situation can be good, or can be bad. It all depends on one's strengths and weaknesses. Another example was when i was a rifleman. Although I conceal shot a lot, there's a good chance that it won't stick and I'll be chased by a nice large critter. Darts or mesh come in very handy, and at master ranger traps don't miss
I enjoy traps, for the most part. When I was ranged (and again will be soonish), I used traps a lot. I had crates of traps I had in my inventory. Dart/Mesh, glow wire would be nice. Right now I don't think our traps are as useful as they will be after the HAM and combat revamp.

Not quite true.
I recently hunted mountian squills with some new characters (the rl players were experienced) for xp. I didn't need the rifle xp, so I would just sick my pets on the squills and then the newbs would attack. To speed things along, I would throw out a few wire mesh trapsto reduce the combat defense of the squills.
Maybe it was a string of bad luck, but I would miss about 1 in 4 tries. And I am a master ranger.
Still, in all I do find traps to be very useful, like in the above scenerio. The traps are especially useful in groups.
