Ok some of the treads in this forum had me asking questions and looking for answers. Even if this stuff isn't Ranger specific I thought I'd ask here.
No Alpha. Ok we know that for sure.
The beta will be using the existing TC mechanisms mentioned in this post, from TH. This server is not up yet. No ETA has been given. My question - Is one giant open beta going to replace the closed one that people where signing up for? Is this yet unknown?

From what's been said it looks like we're going head long into one giant open beta, on a totally bare server.
(Taking that from TH's posts, esp the one saying we should get TC installed so we can get onto TC-Ep3. But as with so many thing, who knows?)

Expect a fresh server at the start. Using the TC hardware but not the database.

OK, not a problem, I already have a character on TC.... any idea as to when TC-EP3 (or whatever it is) goes "live"?

Ok I'm guessing some SOE/LA brass has shoved a time table down the devs gullets. So they jumped to the max-numbers-of-bugs-found-in-short-time plan.
The EP3 in the server name says every thing about the time table.
We know they didn't want to do it this fast.
We know they aren't going to be able to say this and keep their jobs.
Lets distinguish our selves as the least bitchy and most helpful prof in these evil times.

And you wont be able to use your TC character i believe 
fresh start and all. There will be frogs at some stage though but more focused towards specific areas.

I thought May 5th was the release date for Rage of the Wookies... or at least the digital download go-live date.
When is the TC-EP3 up and running for testing?

Since data wise it should be getting a total wipe, and the data now there getting moth balled, one can assume standard hardware swap out type maintenance.

If they saw that a nuber of, or very key parts where nearing the end of their life cycle during some part of the CU testing, you can bet they would bring it down early to do the work so as to cut in the CU testing up time as little as possable. I would
