Wheeee! The thread that was up in here about the revolt in the Armorsmith just got deleted. I guess censorship is the answer rather than addressing the issue. I wonder if the Community Management team realizes how much deleting threads like that incense people. No one was flaming in that thread, just discussing.

Very mature.

Hold don't delete this yet!

It was because I quoted something in that thread. At least that's what I think happend. I was still a live thread when I quoted it, so it seemed like fair game.

Needless to say the thread I quoted was A Bad Thing(tm). It needed to go away. Sad it took our thread with it, but whatever.

Was this a thread that was started this morning, or the one from yesterday?

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the one from this morning. Last night's thread didn't last all that long.

Ya that was the one. Someone made a comment about President Bush running SOE with his "heavy handed tactics in a heated situation" and I replied to that and then made a separate reply about how I agreed with the Armorsmiths and the lack of communication from the dev team to the community at large. Unless it's Jedi of course.

Probly got deleted because it was refering to unconstructive comments in the AS boards and realy had nothing to do with us.

The thread was gone when i logged on today but i can see why it went.

The ability to make comments is the the biggest reason for the existence of a forum no matter how unconstructive they are. That should not be the sole reason for deleting a thread.

Yeah, but the forums are seperated into boards to keep things organized. The Ranger forum isn't the place to talk about how people are acting on the AS forum, nor is it the place to comment on the AS corrs departure.

Yeah but the subtext of the comments was about how we all feel about what SOE are doing to the game, and more importantly how they're treating the players.

They're just trying to "keep the peasants quiet".

I've been on the receiving end of the SOE censorship, and let me tell you, they have a very strange sense of what is and isn't okay to put on the board.
