Thread: Trapping XP fixed in Publish 20
Rabideko,
No where in that thread does it imply a Ranger or scout revamp.
The thread is about Trapping XP and the difficulty people are having leveling up.
Now we all know Publishes are major point relases for the game.
Can we avoid anymore histrionics on the revamp and wait until something concrete comes out on test center instead?

Not only the trapping xp was fixed, but maybe the traps themselves.

Man, you guys are gonna be jealous when Publish 20 goes to TC Bloodfin ![]()
Look me up when it does
.
Well, as long as they're fixing all the traps and not just the poptart bug...

Nah, it'll be like the pet specials revamp for CH... we'll hear about it 12-24 hours before it goes live but never see it on TC, or if we're lucky we'll see some piece of our revamp show up in the patch notes for TC.
History: Pet specials are broken. No communication at all then one day (today) we get a message that "we knew they were broken, we were working on revamping them, here it what we came up with you'll see it on live tomorrow"
Yup, we will have to use traps as they should of always been designed. You should be able to trap the end-game creatures and use tactics to take them down but not rely ona perminant root.
Just wait until the chain root deminishing returns code hits live (please please please tell me this is still in the works) and then the people who have just relied on spamming/chaining roots will be complaining their head hurts because they have to think about different tactics now. Fun times ahead.
Us rangers will have it sweet though; a 30 second root and a 30 second devastating snare (slowed the creature down the most ive seen to date when working) to alternate between.

oooh, glorious gossip!. is this true? a 30 second root and a devastating snare?
I love the sound of those. sounds like I'll have to adapt the krayt hunting a little bit...but not all that much.
and I must say...I love green marine.
