Thread: Getting lost

I know that feeling. I wonder what exactly the person coming up with the layout for this thing was thinking when designing it.
I think this thread will be good also.
I think I could find everything on Dantooine just by looking around, Rori and Dathomir I am getting better at, and Talus like the back of my hand.
But I get lost in any city starting with"Mos" and most cities on Corellia.
And I definatly have to agree with Washell. Whoever designed thelarge generic house, must have been laying down looking atthe design sideways. It absolutely makes no sense. I hate them with a passion, I can never find the damn door. This also goesfor any Naboo style house.
Come to think of it, I live in a large Tatooine house, and get lost sometimes. Probably why the front room looks like a storage area, and the rest of the house is empty.

A friend put up his large Tatooine house and we had a fun ten minutes trying to find out how to get to the balcony ![]()
I can be dropped anywhere on Corellia and get back to a city w/o a WP. I know RIverlands particularly well, and have seen the rise and fall of several player cities there. My grind was mostly done between Kor Vella and Tyrena: used to walk up and down the map there. I used to have only those two cities for waypoints on my datapad.
Sense then I have gotten to know Rori and Talus almost as well. There are some "interesting" places there that are not listed on the POI list.
I dont seem to get confused nearly as often as I used to. I had a hard time trying to figure out the arrows and the radar thing, for the longest time. I would always start to follow the wrong arrow and end up back where I started. This happened enough times that I eneded up with the nick name "Wrong Way". This is not to good when your a Master Ranger and one of your friends yells out "Ok wrong way tou have the lead". It kinda freaks some people out. Anyways I've gotten much better finding out where i'm going, and know where I'm at these days.

I got lost in the first house I ever went inside. I think it was a small corellian. I still get lost in Coronet (now which bunch of fountains was this?) Actually, I get lost in most cities. Some of those naboo and rori cities!!! Holy bridges! And those metal fences on Rori always go the wrong way! And of course Tat has all those lovely low walls. I love being balked by a wall that only comes up to my knees. By the time I find my way around through and over I have to bring up the map again and figure out where the heck I went and how the heck to get back!
I am a little lost on the beginner planets since player cities. I used to know Tat well, but now everythiing there is covered in houses. Same with naboo, though I didnt know that as well. Currently I am getting to know Endor and Yavin very well. No buldings! Thank the force! I remember running dantooine before player cities. Nothing but miles of flowers. I wish I had explored more thouroughly back then.

Dathomir. Hasn't happened since the waypoint monitor (thanks Devs!). But I used to get lost there all the time. A couple turns to avoid nightsisters and the ancient bull rancors who laugh at maskscent and I would be completely confused. Which arrow was I following again? Not to mention half my party would be dead because I would forget they couldnt run through ancient reptilian flyers like I could. THAT hasn't happened since speeders though.

I went around.
That one made me chuckle.
