Thread: I think they just don't get it

From tonights patch notes -

"You can now harvest while mounted or riding a vehicle"

I don't mind this... but who cares. Spend your time doing stuff that I might want like /scentmask, /conceal, or better yet /areatrack.

Well I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes open for them.

  • You can now access the bank while mounted or riding a vehicle
  • You can now use EnragePets and EmboldenPets while mounted
  • You can now place a structure while mounted


I must say I do like these changes. There is something to say about not being able to /conceal.


Let's hope they add /areatrack, /maskscentto the list soon...

Oh ya they are good changes. But harvesting? lol.

I'm just trying to make sure that we have it on our minds so that we can push for /mask, /conceal, and /ar.

You cant kill while mounted.... so why harvest? Thanks..... lol

Not much in this game has been based on logic, but I just can't wait to see my bothan toon harvesting from atop a barackaset... how he does it, we don't know, it just happens.


On the other hand, I will be able to harvest the things I randomly kill when riding around Naboo. Kinda cool.

thats' whyI always place a "punchbowl of safety" down on the ground so if I fall, I don't hurt myself. Safety is delicious...and intoxicating.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

I thought you COULD use weapons from mounts, just not from vehicles - at least in live. Has that not made it into the CU?

Can you fight mounted? I thought they took away the auto attack feature that allowed that...

Or do they let you use the novice attack skill from Marksman/Brawler?

*light goes on* Of course, that's why it wouldn't work in CU - ALL attacks are specials. Ignore my previous question.

Anyone remember an old post by Delta where he talked about an old Dev thought concerning a "Mounted Cavalry" type profession?


This is pure theory and speculation, but could be moving towards becoming more powerful mounted combatants?



  1. TN working for our mounts?

  2. Firing from Speeders and other Vehicles?

  3. Having special "mounted" skills and abilities?

This could be a bit of fun. I'm really curious to know what they're upto!
