Thread: CU: General Testing
- Resizing is an issue
- Member'tabs' keep slipping underneith each other so you can see who is who
- Member stats and HAM do not update correctly unless manually clicked on
- Odd placement of group member tabs (seem to just place at random distances to each other)
Cant get hurt on rori:
- You cantbe hurt on rori no matter what you shoot at
- All mobs just stare at you but do no damage
- No need to heal because of this so cant test healing as we get no xp
No Auto-Fire:
- Please bring auto-fire back, it was a great skill as it allowed you to perform other functions during combat aswel as keep a good overview, now you cant.

With that I think you mean the Queue??? I'd like it back as well, causeI used it to make tactical decisions. That was the intention of the CU wasn't it.
At a first glance (cause I'm off to do some RL stuff):
General scouting XP
- Getting scouting XP seems harder then before. After half an hour killing MINOR worrts,2 womp rats and a kreetle I had4units of hide and 12 bones. Low numbers mean low XP. Yes, this was SOLO. But even a 20% addition from another scout/groupmember would not have made much difference!
- Only able to use CDEF atm, so CDEF Rifle. Ranged: 30m. Critters keep walking away so you have to go after them. Takes around 4-6 shots (ranged ability shot) to take a minor worrt down! This also takes a long time. This gives 2 combat xp (yes 2!) and about 20 rifle xp. So levelling up in Marksman is also very very very slow.
UI
- At first glance, a lot of toolbar work needs to be done. Lot of the icons are still old style.
- Personally, I don't like the new ones. Too much Fantasy/DnD which is ok by me but doesn't fit inside a SWG universe
- Maybe just me, but I cannot see player names, afk/helper/lfg whatever, profession and rank unless I have had /target them.
- Plus: CDEF rifle now sounds more like a rifle to me

- Buggy. After I was incapped, it seems I was not able to do anything for a long while. No weapon change possible, burstrun icon was turned on, while I didn't ran any faster then normal, couldn't attack, couldn't craft, couldn't sit down....
So all in all, my small first experience is not that good ![]()
Will be back later
Edit: Oops, just read Dariane's reply. If you do mean the queue then I agree. This is hard because they wanted to get rid of the ability to "spam" attacks, but I think this is the wrong way to go about it. The fixed speed mods, cost, and the new timers should do that in my opinion.

My experiences are as follows:
- First an foremost, there are a ton of bugs on TC5 (some combat related, others not). I hope for and expect to see a lot of tweaks, fixes, etc. I really can't give an honest first impression, as gameplay was quite difficult, BUT I can list some likes and dislikes.
- The new icons...I am apathetic. They don't bother me, per se, but I am not excited about them.
- I have a big problem with a noob not being able to kill a Durni, BUT the devs say they have new, low, lowlevel creatures that have only been implemented on Tat (for now...I think they said they would eventually have these noob creatures on at least Corellia and Naboo). The inability to kill Durni may be offset by the ability to kill these new creatures.
- I love the new auto attack option (basically, you can turn any of your skills into your auto attack without using a macro).
- The new particle effects are awesome.
- The new /examine info on weapons is nice.
- Currently you can't tell what, if anything, is aggroed on you, until it charges you.
- At the moment, critters run around too much while in combat, which, with the new LOS rules (which they seem to have tweaked from the rules they have had on TC for a while) makes it difficult to fight in even slightly hilly area.
From only one day of testing, and understanding that there are a lot of bugs right now, I can say I am cautiouslyoptimistic . I am only to Carbines 1, so there is still a lot of testing for me to do.

Bingo
I have an issue with the armor:
Why are rangers certified to use battle armor and not assult armor? We hunt creatures... that's entirely what our profession is predicated on... should we not be allowed to use armor that provides a bonus to Kinetic resist?
