Here's the official response from GreenMarine on the lost mayor experience. This is concerning mayors getting no exp for an election. This is NOT about the 1 vote loss.

1. There is a bug with mayors sometimes not getting xp for an election. We are looking into it.

2. CSRs can reimburse xp lost in this way."

Any CSRs reading this thread should note that there is NOT a 2x cap on politician experience. It is a 20x cap.

A thing I was wondering: Are mayors counted in the number you need for city advancement?

I heard a rumor you needed 21 for rank 2 so we decided to play it safe and have 21 residents at the start.

I thought maybe these things were related if what I say is a fact, if it isn't you canignore this post..

So, do we CSR this ticket and tell the CSR our own mayor vote did not count? And yes, if city level is 20, do we need 21.....35...need 36? and so on?

Any idea which division of CSR reports to file it under? There seems to be no obvious choice that I can find. As in, which Topic and Sub Topic it would be considered.

CSR's are telling me that 2x CAP is in place so I only got 2,000xp but had 32 citizens vote for me.

We need an official message from devs to CSR about this issue.

the cap is 20k, GreenMarine said that personally.

That CSR was very wrong. Submit another ticket.

Our may FINALLY got her xp given to her this evening after numerous tickets by people in our guild and several chats with CSR's.

She too was told that her xp was capped at 2k even though we had 31 citizens at the time of city upgrade. What's the deal?

Yep. I'm totally at my wit's end about this.

Every time I contact a CSR on Farstar I am told that they have been INSTRUCTED not to reimburse the XP. I even produced a quote from Greenmarine to support my case. The CSR replied that he had checked and there was nobody using the name Greenmarine employed by SOE!

Ho-Hum I'll do another couple of rounds with the CSRs again tonight. They are very polite and helpful but seem like they have been badly misinformed by somebody in charge. Thanks for the info PLinka - hopefully this will be the proof I need to get it through to them that my XP needs to be reimbursed.

If it wasn't so utterly frustrating then it would be funny.

ok heres how it went with me had a CSR Contact me. said there was a 2k cap i disagreed i said it was not fair that other mayors had recived up to 5.7k xp for there 57 people on my server i had 32 votes he gave me 2k Granted after going to whole week without xo i promtly thanked him and he was off. I deleted my ticket

about 3 to 4 hours later anthor CSR contacts me I explained how the other CSR had giving me only 2k he said hold while i investigate he comes back nd awards me me the extra 1.2k Now i must say I was very gratitfied with the service this guy provided. he didn't just read a outdated sheet of paper to decided on a cap that was about a month old he looked at other mayors across my server and determined they hadno such 2k cap.

This guy went the extra mile for and i really am glad for that. 2 thumbs up for This very cool CSR!!!

Lets hope i don't go through all thi again in 3 days when my city updates again.
