I wish it can be. A citizen placed his house in a no build zone (reserved for future constructions) and he will not answer my e-mails or will move that house even after repeated attempts to contact him and ask him nicely.

It is not a problem (yet), but i am growing tired of being ignored and would like to just have the ability to revoke his permit to have a house in the city.

It would be nice on these types of occasions.

Hi, I am on the Naritus server and built the city of Carida'
We had some people come down to our city during it's development and placed several houses in a place where obviousplans for the future were suppose to go down.

Anyway this guild was ask several times to remove the houses, they said no, made several post about how this is the way they play and it is in their right to grief like this. Long story short, CSR's will do nothing, you can't remove anyone from your city once they live there and if you use decorations such as light post for anything other to decorate, it is an exploit that can result in banning. Decorations are not allowed to be used for blocking access to houses, bases or other structures or for griefing other players, even if they are the bigger griefer.

Good Luck with your situation. I wish there were a /eviction command in the game for mayors.

You need to remove that stuff now, before you get reported for greifing. Unfortunately we can not deny people access to their homes. You may place statues and such near it in a manner that will attract attention, but you may not block entry. You could get banned for this. Believe it or not.

haha to late they guy got a csr to come and move it the mayor got a flag and 20 guild members came and told the csr that r u going to make q1 person happy or have 87 people quit the game over this , well the csr took the scamers side but we all keep him there for almost 1 hr till this person moved there home out of the city , so blocking the home did work it gor r mayor a flag , but a csr came and he/she did c that this was not a prob with 1 person wanting this person gone it was 20 people all there buggging the hell out oif him to help us lol BUT THE MAYOR SHOULD HAVE THE POWER TO KICK PEOPLE OUT OF THE CITY , like give them 48hrs to move there home or can be fined or something this is bulll **edit** this will not be the first time or the last. and if this was a jedi prob i bet they would have fixed it with the first 5 mins not let it go on for a week and have 87 people say they will quit the game ,

Looks more like blocking the home didn't work....it got your mayor a flag...one that if it happens again will result in a week suspension. You all managed to just greif the guy to the point that he left. This guy didn't do anything wrong in the game....you exploited the mayor powers to greif another player. It doesn't matter how many people apporve something...greifing is greifing. Sure we need an ability to packup a house after certain requirements have been met....your acting like this is a strong example why it isn't in the game. Stop greifing people and we might stand a chance at one day ahving these abilities.

Your foolishness didn't help the politician profession one bit. Grow up and deal with problem people in a diplomatic wayand use your toolsfor what they were meant for.

Actually, he/she had every right to place a house/structure there. Your city didn't have management rights to it. You could had prepared and place structures in the non-management zone to hold the land. Yes, it is frustrating when you grow and you absorb structures that you didn't expect, but they do pay to play the game and had every right to place a house or structure there. Getting all upset isn't going to solve it and will do nothing but create ulcers for you.

Only solution is to have the mayor (only the mayor) to approach and contact the person and discuss the issue with the problem. Heck, try to recruit the person to move in your city. Extra person is extra tax base to support the city. If the refuse to move, then adjust. Demanding an ability to increase you enjoyment in the game but hinder someone elses isn't going to happen.

a bigger problem is people purposely placing structures just outside city limits so that when you expand the become a resident even if they aren't welcome in your city, you couldn't control the zoning, etc.

Personally I think the mayor should have zoning control on the full 450m from day one, and just not be able to actually PLACE city structures past the current radius, and not count any residents past the current radius. This would removethe ability for people to grief cities.

We had a guy drop a PA hall right outside our 150m radius, then we expanded to include his hall, and he refused to move it. We mined every square around his house. THAT was fun. Didn't prevent access to his house, just made him walk over minefields to get to it. hehehe. had to get buffs just to make it into his hall....... yeah he left.
