I would like to challenge any present mayor and all mayors to be to "not use the exploit" of cross server trades this is destroying the whole purpose of a community based game and a city made up of 6 accounts is not a city its a gang!!
I implore all those who are Mayors to remove any cross server trades you have in your cities and to not allow any players new into your city that are reidents on another server.
I have made a sugestion to the developers and do again that they only allow 1 resident in 1 city per account.
This would solve this problem and allow those of us that have worked for our cities the correct way and not used an exploit to get what we deserve.
For those of you who use cross server trades to form and keep your cities and metropolises alive I feel karma will take care of you.
Thank you Pinwha Mayor of Anarchy Naboo Kauri
ps. Please send me an in-game mail if any of you know of a city onKauri using this exploit so i may ban all their citizens from our city and our vendors and if you find yourself a citizen of one of these player cities I would leave it asap.

Yeah I play regularly on a couple of servers, but only have a residence on the 2 major ones, Bloodfin and Valcyn. The rest are itinerent characters (though they do get offered houses regularly wherever they go).

I feel your missing my point here its that 6 accounts can create a player city9 accounts a metropolisthis is an exploit i believe and is abused if you wish to be in more than 1 player city fine but you may only be a resident in 1 thus eliminating the cross server trade problem and abuse of it.
As a Mayor of a player city that has recruited many single citizens and new people to the game which is one of our goals to help new people, the cross server trade is devastating to our becoming a city.
I truly feel that the only people that would have a problem with this are those that are using cross server trades to keep their city a city.

And on another note the exploit is to use other players on other servers to create or hold a city at its rank these people dont log much they stop in every week or two just to beat the new bot they are only used to keep rank and declare residence.

I believe we may have partially resorted to using cross server trades to regain the city from a mia mayor, but i never would solicit them simply to grow or get expvotes. Frankly, I thought that the idea was to build and keep building a city. I passively and actively recruit for my city since I took over, and we have been a metropolis since the very first day we could be. Gotta love Arakeen...

P.S. I see your point. And I like it, it would help people retire more I bet

I'd personally rather have the devs working on other things. Is this more important to you than the fact that the Master Politician box gives no apparent bonuses?

Cross server citizen exchanges are a bit of a problem. But the 1 citizenship per account idea will cause alot more problems than it will help anything. After the fabled city revamp, I plan to start another city on another server. As the mayor, I must be a resident of my own town. You're telling me that because people use cross server citizen exchange, I can't run 2 cities? Pfft! The six week inactivity rule was fine, bring that back.

Well im unsure of the being a citizen of a city your the mayor of as I had a citizen in my city that was a mayor of another city so I dont think you need to be a resident to be mayor just to become one posibly or maybe it was a bug?
And why would it be such a problem please explain to me it makes complete sence to only be a citizen in 1 city and 1 server If this is a player run community then having the players involved is needed and if your trying to be involved in multiple citys then who gets your attention which is more important does one cityget second rate if so i only want first rate players in mine.
Again everyone seems to miss my point
6 accounts can become a player city this is wrong period...........
so if I want to spend 300$ for 6 games and pay 90$ a month I can have a city to myself.....Hmmmmmmmmmmm?
The problem is the abuse of cross server trades end of story anyone who agrues with this is using this exploit and has no interest in this being eliminated.

We have a level 4 city that doesn't use this exploit - however, I don't want the devs trying to figure out how to fix this, but how about the other several hundred bugs that actually hinder the ability to play the game and have fun.

I'm sorry, Badpin, but thats not a good idea. My vice-mayor plays on Starstrider as much as she plays on Tempest. I have several people who play on Tarquinas who are very active in out community. Limiting one account to one city is not a viable option. I too believe having cross-server lot trades doesn't help and defeats the purpose of the game. Farpoint doesn't participate in cross server lot trades and it shows. There is almost always someone running or hanging around town.
