Thread: How Many Politicians w/ Second Accounts?
Just a point of curiosity, but how many mayors found for whatever reason that they needed to have a second character?
I have two myself, largely to escape the spam in the spatial window and get things done in peace.

In the poll I ran last week: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Politician&message.id=20520&page=1
...it came out like this:
41 responded that their politician was their main or only character.
7 responded that their politician was an alternate on a second account.
That is probably a high percentage compared to other professions, but I was actually rather surprised. My impression was that since most of the politician skills come without much ongoing gameplay, potential for earning loot, creds, etc, that many more players would be using second accounts for their politicians. Although our #1 issues was lack of abilities per skillpoints, lack of gameplay, etc, this is one of just a few responses on the poll that showed me that players are, at least so far, surprisingly getting quite a bit of gameplay out of their politician characters.
I have two accounts, but not to have a "Mayor bot".
I have a smuggler/politician/pistoleer that pretty does 100% Mayoring now, and a Master Merchant/Master Artisan/lots of dabbling.

The poll was kinda misworded. I have 2 accounts, should have 3 soon. My main char is my politician and that's the one I play most, because its a Commando/Politician so I go shooting stuff with it.
My second account is a crafter (Tailor) and Merchant, and heh I made it to supply my first char with clothes
and also to mass produce tailor components for armorsmiths. Although I like the merchant trade, it is kinda weak with the fact that every crafter has some merchant ability (topic for another board).
The third char when I get it, will be to get Jedi, since I don't want to change my other two chars.
I still consider my main and primary char to be my politician char. Although the Commando portion of it gets more use than the Politician side.
I also have created a second account due the skill point limitations preventing me from crafting, being mayorand fighting. This is very convienent as the politician/architect is almost always immersed in tells and emails dealing with the economic standpoints of the game. So when I want some peace and quiet to go off and kill randomly the second account allows me that oppurtunity.

I actually have 5 active .. but its for other crafting reasons, lots ... ability to not be stuck with just a few professions etc ...not just because of politician. And yes I know im a freak.
