Thread: Plinka, Any info? Missing XP news?

Forgive me if I haven't been paying attention, but I haven't seen any news from Plinka in a while. Even if just to let us know that "The devs aren't talking".

Personally, I'm getting very, very worried about the missing Politician XP from last weeks city update that I haven't had a CSR response to yet. This issue isn't being taken seriously on the Development forum, and people seem to not realize that it affects entire cities, not just the suckers who became politicians for the benefit of their citizens.

I filed a CSR ticket and, although it took a while, I was able to get my missing xp. The catch is... you MUST be online when the CSR looks at your ticket or they will be unable to help you. Not sure why. The CSR who helped me asked me a couple simple questions and about a minute later *poof* I had the missing xp. Originally I was not online and the CSR's responded to my ticket informing me that my presence was required.

Hope that helps.

Dralar,

I was afraid someone would say that. So I can't expect to log in and find my xp then? Great
I don't suppose the CSRs work after hours Eastern Standard time do they? I can't really miss a day of work to wait for xp I should have gotten in the first place.

We need a developer answer on if this is being fixed. Did plinka quit? (not sarcastic, seriously, I know plinka was experiencing correspondent blues)

I had lost pol xp and a csr did come ay 9pm EST. so they do work later. It took them 6 days to answer the ticket. although i do believe it had somehing to do with the fact that everyone of my citzens file a ticket on it as well. The csr did comment on the fact that i needed to tell them to delete their tickets. lol try that.

Hmmm....I had my citizens do the same thing.

I logged in after midnight EST to find our city had magically upgraded...it wasn't from the vehicle patch, but things look like they are back to normal for our city. Hopefully everyone else gets their upgrade/xp bugs fixed soon!!!!

I filed a ticket on Friday evening after I realised I didn't have my exp. I sent out a city wide email explaining why new things were not being implemented, including advising my citizens of the ticket number of the ticket I had submitted.

I was contacted by a CSR on Tuesday evening and given my full exp.

If you resubmit tickets, you get moved to the end of the ticket queue and the only thing you can do is be online. They contact you in game, so if you're not on, they can't reach you.

Oh, also should note: I was on an alt at the time they first contacted me. So no worries if you're on one of your alts, as long as you are in game.

They will ask you to switch to your other server to award the exp.

Just to clarify, is this a complete "Delete" and write a new ticket you're referring to? Or do you mean every time you "add a comment" to a ticket it gets moved to the end of the line?

I am referring to delete and rewrite.

Adding a comment just adds a comment.

I am worried that getting the whole town to submit tickets will make us seem annoying or piss off a CSR.

On the other hand, it's been since last Saturday that I submitted the ticket ....

Anyway, wouldn't it be great if they could just fix it? Instead of all of us spending time figuring out the best way to get XP from a CSR we could be figuring out 'gasp' how to run our cities better!
