Im just currious what political experience do we all have. Mine is not spectaculare, just college commissions that had limited power:
I was a vice president for my University's housing Athority before i was brought down by my political opponents. After that I was elected to the Undergraduate Student Goverment where I served as my housing areas senator. After that I left student government briefly and joined the university's student radio station. As the Radio Station's Chief engineer i lobbied student government for our largest budget increase ever =P. Finaly at the end of my Seinior year in college i was on the Student Government Election Commission where i ran the election for the Student body president and all the senators.

I don't have even close to that much experience
I ran for council in high school but was defeated.
I then ran for council in my third year of university under the residence rep position and was defeated.
I ran again the following year and won and then won again during my fifth year.
I've helped in political campaigns but other then that I have no interest in politics... except for the fact that I'm always the leader in video games. I'm a prince in Lineage and here I was a council member of my PA before becoming mayor of our city.

Civil Servant dealing with customers daily, they are a fickle lot... previous job at a non-governmental organisation / charity dealing with British MP's and the like, travelled to the UN on behalf of the organisation to appeal for funding, amongst others..
not REAL politics, but certainly helps when "people power" and learning to use peoples responses and actions to your favour
..although I've not yet qualified for Politician Funding VI: Embezzlement quite yet (but I did work for Vivendi once, Jean-Marie Messier is seems to have qualified recently though)

Ahh yes thats a post...not elected. Perhaps it was the poor spelling skills of the ambassadorial staffing that led to the current tensions in the Mid-East
