On my server people are saying that you cannont place anymore towns on tatooine because of city cap. Is their really a such thing? I would hope not. I find it really stupid that SOE would be taking a hole class away from me.

Have you read any of the posts made within the last 48 hours? This has been THE major topic of posting.

The 3 major planets Tatt... Naboo and Corellia have a PC cap of 10... the minors Dantooine, Lok, and Talus have a PC cap of 25.... they'll eventually raise that . However, for now, they don't want 1000 PCs on planets.... not quite realistic. I built mine on Lok.... :-)

Think about it. There aren't going to be that many PC's to start off with. At most, I'd venture to say a good 50 at first. But just like PA's that die and fade away, smaller unkept cities will die off as well.

Give it a month or two and only those who have serious intent to have a city will recieve one. The cap is silly because anybody who wanted a city had the potential to get one. And seeing it was something new, anybody with the speed and resources pursued it. But being a politician isn't easy work. Even more difficult than running a successful PA in my opinion.

Okies I checked the FAQ's (again) and still no current
listing of CAPS. Is it a crap shoot?

Assuming the best places to have a full sized city-- would be Dant, Lok, Rori, Talus.

ugh.

There's currently no 100% accurate method to find out about a planet's cities.

You can find out if a planet is capped by trying to drop a city hall, and I know that's a lame way to find out once you've spent the time and resources to get it.

You can SORTA figure out how many cities there are by looking on the planetary map, and checking for terminals. Shuttles are only available at Level 4, but on Radiant Naboo, 2 shuttles do not appear on the map (we have 11 total, **edit**?)

i dont think you can re-deed a city hall, but if you want to just wait 24 hours from the time you placed it and it will automaticly re-deed if you have less than 10 citizens

well now im not too sure, some things ive read say that it will re-deed, the SWG guide says this,

If the city doesn't have 10 citizens in 24 hours, the city hall will be destroyed WITHOUT REIMBURSEMENT and the mayor will receive a message saying their zoning permits were rejected.

without reibursment seems a little vauge so im not sure
