Thread: House Roll-Up to Inventory with Contents on Test Center [link inside]
This sounds like what was planned in the aftermath of the Character Purge (since this sounds like the system they were talking about for that and wanted to put in for regular players).... /resists the urge to get giggly happy yet
It may be that it was just overlooked in the patch notes, but I'll see what I can find out and pass on.

Asking a player to move their house by hand is one thing, asking them to roll it up and move it over a few squares is something else entirely.
Perhaps. Although there is no telling what their timeframe for 'inactivity' will be. If it's 6 months, you may have to wait 6 months to fill that hole that was left from another inactive toon because of the footprint change.
Also, if the toon that owns an inactive houseon your server has anactive toon on another server...are they still considered active on your server (this would keep the house and not roll it up)?
The footprint change is still an issue. The rediculously large size of the footprint requires more 'buildable' land to place. I have no problem in 'adapting to change', however the size and structure placement on the footprint (it's not centered) doesn't make much sense.
Generic houses can still be stacked next to each other to create walls. How come just the Naboo's were changed?

I know the footprint is still an issue. As far as why it was changed and not the generic medium, I'm guessing because it's much easier to pass through the generic ones. There's also a *small* visible gap which the Naboo medium didn't have. I haven't heard anymore about it, though, so that's just a guess.

I'm sorry you'll have holes but honestly, the benefits to the overall population far outweigh that inconvenience.
