Title says it all.
Level 4 city, 65 citizens, Improved Job market, all structures, trainers, missions etc.
Soe: please submit feedback if you do not like this.
csr: this is as the game is intended.
So any mayor about to lose office, can just destroy everything?
Or i can work my ass off to get elected somewhere, and just maliciouslty tear it down?
Camelot, Dantooine, kettemoor
Is no more.

Thanks pappi
She just simply destroyed all city services, all city structures, and city hall, one day before she would have to leave office.
If this is acceptable, doesnt it destroy the gaming mechanics?
Im at a total loss here.

just realized your title's cut off, and I'm assuming that you guys had a challanger that had enough votes to vote the mayor out?

Thank you so much pappi
we have worked so hard for all of this, and what makes it quaint is
we arent a group of powerplayers.
we are here to enjoy the city, and be a beauttifl, functional city.
what good is a city, if it has no residents or visitors, we solved both those issues.
I could show you all some great pics, if i just knew how to do that.

Im just not an eye for an eye person.
But let me detail what exactly happened.
I, Drey-Blye, Founded Camelot, to have a nice, fully functional, well designed, beautiful city, where people could hunt, shop, grind, or just hang out.
I had alot of help as well
Champolion
Etam
Lere
Vensic
Just to name a few.
After 7 weeks or so of starting from a piece of dirt, i stepped down, and got our second mayor in
Who, for unknown reasons, quit mysteriously.
After a bit of work, I got -" Laca "- voted in as mayor, with my support.
Shes always been a bit flaky, but i shielded her from the comments, thoughts, and abuse of others.
She tells me just 2 days ago, she is quitting, and will be unable to play.
This throws me into a panic, and i ask her at least 5 times. she validates.
so... i find a mayor, and within one day, 2 days of city elections, we have what we need to replace her.
I log on today, to find that all militia, have been removed from the city list.
Fountains are placed in front of city hall, in an effort to block incoming traffic.
Among other noticable grievances.
She logs on today, and suddenly, shes not quitting for 2 more months.
I plead and beg her, to handle this maturely, and respectfully.
The situation degrades, to us, aout 5, in the city hall chatting, when she destroys it.
Everything disappears.
And the csrs tell me, in 2 differnt resonses
1. That the game ir working as intended
2. it is acceptable behavior
3. I should be careful whom i vote for.

Your sympathy and overwhelming desire to help us, means alot to us.
This Drey-Blye
And my single reason, for pumping what has been millions of credits, and time, into Camelot, has been for the people.
I know what i like in a city, and that i tried to replicate.
Thanks for all the support, if only in word, it means something.
Faithfully yours,
Drey-Blye

I am deeply sorry for you loss
As a future mayor myself I would take this into account when dealing with other politions, and I think this activity should be labled as harrasment, as it's sole purpose was to inconvience other players - not just to delete a city.
If nothing else maybe your post can save other player cities

Its a sad thing that happened, and it was certainly extreme. Its even possible that the CSRs may be able to do something about this, but after reading your account of events... I certainly would not leave you blameless in this either. If I am reading your post correctly, you got a person elected in that from the very beginning was not well suited for the duty. Did you not screen your future mayor? Then you protected her from what was being said. You didn't see that as a time to sit down and talk with her in a diplomatic way? Then you logged on and saw the fountains, and didn't report that to a CSR, instead you took matters into your own hands...confronted her, and pushed the confrontation to a flash point that resulted in her canning the city hall. Maybe in hind sight, it would have been wiser to leave her as is..if you truely did have the majority vote to oust her, and let the new mayor remove the fountains if they weren't removed by a CSR sooner. Hopefully, you have been a bit wiser in your next choice of mayor.
The thing is though...even in a case like this where is has affected many people. The game mechanics do allow for a mayor to pull the plug for whatever reason (this means according to the game rules..no rules were broken, and is likley why no CSR has moved to fix it). Its there in the game, and until the Devs remove that ability, it can be done by anyone of us. Maybe this is the little eject button for mayors that get pushed overthe edge from all the "I need such and such trainers put up on my door step, and WTH do I have to donate to the city for!?!?!? TAXES, thats BULL$#!^" tells we get from time to time. If you don't get them...good for you. Those of us with multiple guilds, and many unguilded living in our lvl5 city begin to feel more like slaves than mayors.
I'm sorry to see that this happened, but I want to try to put a bit of a balance in there for you, otherwise this will just happen to you and others again. Perhaps you should invest your SP in becoming mayor yourself....then you have no worries about someone pulling the city hall up in your city.
