What accomplishments have been made by your correspondent(s) working with the developers?
I don't follow these boards, someone please enlighten me.

Could I please have an answer to my question? I just want to know what changes politicians have gotten. Who would know better than the correspondent?
I don't understand why people are abusing the star system. My post was not negative.

Well for one, turn that thing off it doesn't add anything to the forums. For two, in what way was your post constructive or positive?

I don't understand why people are abusing the star system. My post was not negative.
And Pappi has done a ton of changes to politicians. She burns the midnight oil over at Austin coding in so many new things to the game that it is just truly amazing...wait no that isn't pappi. That isn't a correspondent at all, that's a developer doing his job. Developing the game. Damnit Pappi why aren't you a developer?

Just asking a question man. I was hoping for some constructive answers. I haven't been following politician recently so I want to get caught up on what has all been fixed and changed. Thusfar I have been very dissapointed by the conduct of the correspondent and this board.
I still have not been answered.

The truth is that the politician class hasn't gotten any real fixes lately.
But then neither have the smugglers.
Or the entertainers.
Or the dancers.
Or the musicians.
Or the bio-engineers.
Or the artisans.
Or the weaponsmiths.
Or the armorsmiths.
Or the commandos.
Or the....
See my point here? Pappi really does work pretty hard to come up with what cities need, and we *all* know they need major work. The reality right now is that for any significant change to occur, it will probably be after JtL, and possibly if not certainly after the combat balance. That's not the correspondants' fault. They work hard to keep SOE appraised of what the functional state of the game actually is, but it falls to the devs to make the changes. Per my signature, I'm certainly a disgruntled mayor, but I don't put the shortcomings, nor even the continued shortcomings of the player city system on Pappi's shoulders. The responsibility belongs solely, completely and entirely with the developers. Pappi is a messenger, and a pretty darn good one at that.

No, you are insinuating a slander...well I guess it would be considered libel since it is text actually. Read the title, now read it again, read it a third time, break for lunch, read it once more. How the hell is that question asking for changes and/or fixes to the profession? It isn't, it is basically asking what the hell has pappi done for us? And frankly, almost everybody here knows the answer to that (it's a lot by the way) and questioning it is the same as insulting her.
If you wanted a recap of all the changes to politician and player cities in the last however many months then why didn't you ask for exactly that? "What changes have gone in since [insert month here]?" then explain how you've not been paying much attention to politician for the last however months and would like a recap. What you did was simply and arrogantly mocked our hard working correspondent and then got on the defensive.

Carebears? I'm sorry but this is the politician forum, most of us tend to either use or have a preference for tact and civility.

All I saw was someone trying to score with poppi.
It would be nice if people who sit in this forum all day could just tell me what changes were made But I guess I will have to do my own research. Re-inventing the wheel is never fun, but getting an answer out of you people is like pulling teeth.

Pappi has managed to bring up our issues to the developers many times. Unfortunately, with no real results as the devsare concentrating on GCW, Combat Revamp and JTL at the moment. We were even told point-blank that there would be no player city changes until after JTL and GCW. Right now, we're just biding our time and hoping they'll have time for us soon.
So, in a nutshell, though she tries very very very hard, we haven't had any real changes over the past few months. We've got some outstanding issues, and Pappi has been right in there, pushing where pushing is required and tabling when they need tabling, but the bottom line is anything new is outta our (and her) hands.
