*boggle* Squid. Ever heard that old expression: "You catch more flies with honey?" You start your query by flinging rotten tomatoes and then expect a friendly response? Titling your topic with an insinuatingly derogatory question is not the most courteous way of introducing oneself into a community. Demanding the community do your "work" for you and answer all your questions fully but succinctly is the epitome of arrogance.
My interpretation? Squidkid = Rude and Lazy.
Rude: You started out rude with the insulting topic title. Of course Pappi has done something. She IS the Politician Correspondent. She's done what she volunteered to do, which is poll the community for bugs, wishes, ideasand comments and then collated all that information and passed it on to the Developers. After that, it is out of her hands. Other than to continue pestering them for updates on when and what will get fixed/changed/added and how and being the conduit of information for the Politician community.
Lazy: There is an FAQ stickied at the top of this forum. It's there for people who haven't been following the Politician issues and wish to catch up and find out how things work, what doesn't work, what's on the bug list, etc... It's generally understood that people new to a forum community read the FAQ before they post. That way one avoids asking questions that have been asked and answered a bazillion times already.
I'm a Novice Politician. I'm running for Mayor of the city I live in because our current Mayor wishes to retire and just be a simple citizen again. I didn't volunteer to run for Mayor until after I read the FAQ here, all the links in that FAQ, and hundreds and hundreds of posts since then. I found out what I needed to know, and have kept reading here to stay apprised of anything new and interesting.
This is my first post here. I read the FAQ and haven't felt the need to ask redundant questions. Which is what you should have done before you decided to demand anyone here do it for you.
Courtesy and respect. Try it.

You seem to have ignored my answers in your desire to flame people for not giving answers. Given your appearant reason for being here andyour disdain for non-combat players, I think it's probably time to /addignore here. Either you want to discuss the issues at hand or you're just looking for dirt on Pappi, which you won't find here. /shrug.

No, I'm afraid you were just another person interpreting my post as negative and trying to defend poppy. You didn't provide any new information.

I did do research. At no point does are the politician/city fixes listed that I saw.
There is a stickied post that has a lot of our issues and concerns in it (as well as generally useful information). I believe it's the top stickied one - you'll wanna dig a little in it though to get all of the info it offers.
Quite honestly I believe Pappi has done the best she can do, given that corr's don't really have any "power". She's talked to Thunderheart and other SOE inner-circle people many times, and that's the best we can expect from any correspondent. It's not like she's hired by SOE or gets paid or anything, or has any authority at all except in this forum.
Sometimes lack of progress happens, despite 110% effort. Pappi's got my totalsupport in the job she's doing, and I believe she is doing the absolute best possible job that can be done. What's holding the poli's back are the devs themselves. Hopefully our day in the sun will come again soon.

To answer your question of "Has the Politician Correspondent ever done anything?"... Yes, she has.
She has taken and continues to take all issues and problems with the profession and present them to the devs. What THEY choose to do from that point on is beyond her control. If they choose to focus on other things which are deemed more important(JTL, Combat, GCW) then that is THEIR choice and in no way reflects on the excellentjob Pappi is currently doing.
What else has she done? She's stepped to the plate for this profession by volunteering her time and effort to make sure that it has representation to the devs. That alone is enough to earn her at least a modicum of respect. Something you seem to lack considering the title of this thread.
That, and the follow-up posts which ignore the answers given by the forum-goers...well, lets just say that had this been the CM forum, you'd have been tagged and released long, long ago. With a few burn patches to show for the effort.

Pappi is a great correspondent and has had a positive influence on the community (unlike yourself).
A correspondent can't control the actions of developers, so its not her fault that fixes and such haven't been made.
You can go troll another forum now.

One problem. That wasn't what I asked. Seriously, most of you people are being very hypersensitive and useless. I have to do the research myself when I'm sure many of you already know all this stuff. Oh well. Here is what I've found so far:

You can not place multiple garages within 200m of another.

Actually, it seems like you answered your own question (by doing the research yourself, which is always preferable to asking people who really haven't kept track of all this stuff).I honestly couldn't have told you all these things cuz, like I said, they are just cumulative to what exists today, and since no changes have been done recently, the profession is as it is (i.e. we have garages, taxes, etc.).
As far as who it was back in March of this year, I think that was Bajeezus? Cuz Pappi started being correspondent in May.
Both Baj and Pappi did great jobs of getting us to where we are, whatever eventually becomes of this thread

Pappi and her predecessor did everything exactly as they should. They actively worked these forums and based on the community input and their experience with the profession provided reports to developement which were provided in a timely manner and included the priority issues that we wanted to see addressed.
SOE promised to deliver on these items but postponed it for Jedi and JLS sending many developers that were supposed to be working correspondent issues to other projects and left the correspondent stranded without a light at the end of the tunnel. They provide a good scapegoat and punching bag for ignorantplayers who are easily fooled by the SOE deception.
Whose fault is it that nothing has happened? SOE!
Please try and have some small measure of respect for our correspondent as she is likely far more annoyed by this than we are. If you feel you must troll and bash someone try directing it at the source of the problem and not the convenient targets they cower behind.
