Our mayor is thinking about yanking the City Hall in order to quit being mayor, and I for one don't blame him. Come on Dev's, lets fix this.

If the mayor in my city could resign we would not have lost the City Hall because she deleted her character and couldnot resign. We lost the city hall so we lost City status, so we lost all city structures (and we had them all including the shuttle port), all terminals and trainers. This resulted in 25 guild members leaving, 12 of which actually quit the game. And we had another Mayor running!


Such an obvious little thing, and it effected the hard work of 60 people working together for over a year - it was the first city on the server too. Great vision way to to go SOE!!!!

You guys ever do this before?

Or dowe pay you monthly to experiment?

Actually we have a problem with all the cancels we had got. Citizens who have cancel still vote for the actual Mayor.


We don't want to redeed the City Hall and destroy by that our City. That's incredible to have an option to be Candidate and nothing for dismiss !!!

I'd not be mayor were it not for this feature.


However, now that I'm mayor I like it. Still, it should be an option. Many cities die unecessarily because the mayor is trapped.

Having the same problem here. Our mayor wants out. She doesn't want to be mayor. She's dropped politician and moved out of the city. But for some reason, a mayor has no option to revoke citizenship.


WE NEED A WAY FOR A MAYOR TO RESIGN!!!!

The city I used to live in has this problem, and there aren't enough active people to change the mayor.
