Does anyone know how the shuttles in player cities will actually work?

My questions are:

Can you take a player city shuttle to another player city shuttle?

Can you take a player city shuttle to an NPC shuttle?

Can you take an NPC shuttle to a player city shuttle?

Using the common formula A=Pi*r^2.....

Tier 1 = 5 citizens =150 m radius = area of 70,684 m^2 = 14,137 m^2 per citizen

Tier 2 = 15 citizens = 200 m radius = area of 125,663 m^2 = 8,3777 m^2 per citizen

Tier 3 = 30 citizens = 300 m radius= area of 282,743 m^2 = 9,424 m^2 per citizen

Tier 4 = 50 citizens = 400 m radius = area of 502,654 m^2 = 10,053 m^2 per citizen

Tier 5 = 80 citizens = 450 m radius = area of 636,172 m^2 = 7,952 m^2 per citizen

imamazed that out of the 1800+ views of that post that nobody has pointed out that A does not equal Pi*r^2.

how did you not realize that that math was off when you were adding it up? 636k square metersis almostan entire planet! unless you are trying to figure out cubic meters for the volume of a spherical city, the formula is A=2Pi*r.

not to bash or anything, but that was justsilly

Did you go to public school? That is the only possible reason for your amazement at the fact that no one had corrected a post that contains no error.

The formula for calculating the area of a circle is A=pi*r^2. The volume of a sphere is determined by using A=4/3*pi*r^3. That cubed radius is important for determining area, you see. Why did you think a squared variable could be used for determining volume?

Now, let's turn to your verbal fart about 636k square meters being almost an entire planet. The playable area of a planet is a square with dimensions of approximately 15km x 15km. Most people know how to calculate the area of a square, but since you gaffed on the area of a circle, I'd better type this nice and slow for you.

We calculate the area of a square by squaring the length of a side (for those of you who went to public school, that means we multiply it by itself). 15,000^2 is 225,000,000. Thus, the area of a planet is 225 million square meters. If we divide 636k by 225 million, we get 0.0028. That means that the area of the largest player city would be 0.28% of a planet's area.

Oh, and I do intend to bash. Go back to school.

And who were the brain surgeons that gave you five stars?
