Please stop comparing swg to rl, Course biger cities have less area per citizen!!!!! THEY CAN BUILD ON TOP OF EACH OTHER!!! and untilll SWG makes multiple Floors for multiple PEOPLE then We have a valid argument.

In the city I'm mayor of we have 5 guild halls!!!! at size outpost! that leaves enough room for roughtly 30 smalll houses.......... That's alot of room at just 150m radius! (yes i know 30 small houses fit cause we got half of that amount and it's still has room for more.)

I STILLL think bigger ciites should have more space though, bigger the city the more parks and things I will want to place down. I'm going to ask all my citizens to move their factories and things outside of the city once we get larger, and we will reoganize everything, into nice orderly fasions.

Because of the poularity of our guild and friends we have with other guilds our city is growing at an alarming rate.We can barly make enough houses to fill the demand.

Ok new info, just in. The MAX somone can occupy, by building every structure head to head would be 8km's squared (by building 5 structure factorties) ANY other combinatinos of houses and factories would yeild less tahn 8KM sq per player!

aimed at cocoa, for a start you can view what speialisations a city can have, by viewing the politician skills chart (goto skill screen --->all professions) the mayor may pick 1 specialisations. they range from entertaining -->20% boost to healing, to harvestors gain 20% in extraction, to 15-20% experimentation bonus for crafters. doctors healing bonus, militia one where they gain some combat bonuses go look for yourself ingame probably easiest.

Miina...Are you saying a city can only have one specialization?

Then after the next week, when the city 'cycles', it will see that you have too few citizens and you will decrease in rank.

Thankyou, Miina. My question still remains. If experimentation bonus is implemented in a player city, will the bonus stack with my existing skill tape mods.

Or, am I maxed out at 12 exp points?

Devs?

Incorrect... If you look at the skill tree now, we do not get 2 specializations, but the choice between 2 hybrid specializations, and industry (the 2 specializations under accountant) and a scientific (the medical and entertainer healing specializations)

This really sucks because I was planning on a Military hybrid of Stronghold and Cloning.

maybe they will add that one at a later time.

The guide says you get one specialization at a time but have the option of changing it each week per city update.

City Specialization

As the politician gains skills he will eventually earn City Specializations (specs). A city can only have one spec at a time. A spec gives the city a bonus in some area at the exchange of an increase maintenance cost. The city spec may only be changed once a week.

Devs have said that cities can increase by only 1 (one) rank each week, no matter how many citizens they have. Yes, it may slow down progress of some cities, but I don't think it's a terrible idea.

The Income Tax is not based off of a % of what is in your bank account. It is a flat rate. I know there may be some that will abuse that, but me personally I am only doing 300 credits a week from my citizens.

I've got a question....

Q: What tools does a politician have to organize the city? (overhead projection, zoning rules, etc)
