Thread: Politician and Player City Bug List: Post your bugs here!
edit: also, have any of you reported these bugs with /bug? if noone report them in game, the devs won't think it's a serious bug. again, please lay off the large font, I hate reading threads that hurt my eyes.

Minor annoyance, but if you forget and just pick up your streetlights, you are still paying for them.

Also, to offer a suggestion to the person who wanted to rename city buildings - we recently had a private citizen offer to pay for our entire shuttleport. To thank him, we had a statue named in his honor and placed in front of the shuttleport, announcing his kind act.

This dual-citizenship bug has to be addressed soon. I have some people in my town that are actually citizens of THREE towns even though in the other two towns they do not have any structures.
I have the same problem. I have an individual that is still listed as a resident but their house decayed and they left the game. I've submitted a bug and csr report and the csr informed that the individuals have to undeclare as a resident. Wonder how those individuals that have left the game are going to undeclare?
I find this frustrating since I have to spend each morning going around and do an inventory check of all houses and if one is missing, send an email to the person to get a verification of the loss of their house (assuming that they are still playing).
This bug needs to be addressed immediately because nothing but abuses are going to occur. Hey, I need to reach tier IV for my shuttleport. Get Fred, Mary and John from City X to drop a house and declare residency to inflate your population size. They then can pull up their houses and bingo and have land to place more structures to numerically inflate your population.
1) Your city is run by a bad wannabe mayor who does quite horrible job
2) Your city is run by a really good mayor but due to the skill point demands the things he can do is rather limited
My example here is the good old mayor of Mos Quito Hills on Tatooine (Eclipse). He's been Master Doctor since beta. Now with the vendor revamp he needs merchant skills too.
Master Medic = 77 SP
Master Doctor = 63 SP (140 in total)
0040 Artisan = 29 SP (169 in total)
Novice Merchant = 6 SP (175 in total) (Novice might not cut it though)
.. now.. add the politician SP requirements and what do you get? You are a mayor of a great city with one 'actual' profession and unable to do pretty much anything else.
I personally think the whole SP system should be revamped but Politican profession taking up skillpoints is just blatant robbery. I think every player should have the opportunity to participate in fighting no matter what is his main profession. Ok, so you are a crafter and not really combat oriented. Perhaps you can't solo anything very tough but you still should be allowed to have some fun and be able to go hunt something.
