Howdy

I cant believe people do not want the mayor to have complete control of the treasury....If the residents of the the city I'm mayor of took that control away from me then my credit laundrying business would go away. LOL.....Also, I need those credits so that my personal assistant "Candy" is dressed nicely....

we'd liukely be out a huge chunk of change if I couldn't take our money out of the treasury . . . we're pretty close to losing out City Hall from the drift bug, and I'm starting to move the funds out so we don't lose them when the Hall poofs. I'll also thank the brainchild who so intelligently limited the amount of money I can take out at a time . . . chances are I won't be able to recover our treasury before our town disappears.

Hell,

If I bought the City Hall, paid most of maintenance, all the decorations and structures and some lameass opposite faction came and sorround us and try to vote me out of my Hall I bet all my guildmembers want me to destory the fecking city hall. With the cap and all the waiting souls I bet the cap is faster full and they lamer can drop their city hall (if they have one).

And that has nothing to do with griefer or something else. If my citizen vote another mayor cos I suck, then I would let the City Hall. But not to the enemy!

Remind me not to live in a city with a Mayor like Mallory.

City building cost is a pittance, it is nothing. Any competent master architect can build them all for less than 250,000 cr. ( his cost, harvesting his own materials. I don't see any reason for a Mayor to ever withdraw funds from the treasury, nor do I see any reason for a Mayor to destroy a city hall.

We need to protect the games from the really bad mayors like RantMallory claims to be.

Sigh... I'm forced to resort to your old standby. You don't get it and I doubt you ever will.

The mayor absolutely needs to be able to withdraw from the treasury simply because there are many city expenses that are NOT automatically paid from the treasury. I refuse to have to pay for miner maintenance (among other things) out of my own pocket because the Devs decided to "protect" the players from bad mayors by taking the inconceivable and patently absurd step of not allowing mayors access to the treasury. There is only so much "protecting" the devs can do before the game becomes so sterile as to no longer be fun. Why do you insist on demading that the game be constantly nerfed in order to cater to the lowest common denominator? The addlepates should not have the power, and the game should not be constantly adjusted to compensate for their mental inadequacies and/or moral shortcomings.

You don't want a game, you want a movie that you can walk around in.

Are you daft or just playing stupid? It has been explained here in this thread numerous times many valid reasons why mayors need access to the treasury?

One of our PA members was nice enough to pay for a 2nd account to run mayor on. So no one has to lose skill pts and a few of us can use the mayor as needed for zoning or militia. It works out great for us but you have to have a really nice person willing to pay for a 2nd account.
