if it says City Advancement: Error does that mean im bugged?
It's probably either of two things ...
a) your city is waiting from the numbers to be calculated by the servers. This could take from a few minutes (30-40) to several hours (even more than 24h in my experience). I suspect the server waits until all cities on the planet or in a certain region have their update time to calculate everything in one pass, but not sure
b) you've already had your update (got email, XP, paid money) ... so you'll probably get another update in the next 24h (giving you XP again but costing you the whole maintenance a second time).
Sorry if this was mentioned before ... i havent checked the whole forum on this topic but how comes that some kinda gardens are marked on the planetary map as factional bases ?
Small corellian is one of them ... i was kinda wondering that someone acc to the planet map has placed a small HQ in our city and guess what .. after i went to the waypoint it was the small corellian garden . Checked all the other 'bases' on corellia (galaxy farstar) and more then half of them are gardens. Moved to naboo and the same thing there but that are different kinda gardens used to this bug dont belong just to corell models .
We had a lot of pimp visits since then and guys ... its so damned funny seeing these murons standing in front of our garden and wondering where the HQ is . Its not such an important bug but we would prefer getting the bad smell of the imps outa town together with them ![]()
Shuttleport Bug
I wanted to move our shuttleport so I re-deed it. The droid and terminal disappeared but the structure stayed. I had a deed in my inventory for a shuttleport but I can't place it because the standing structure is still considered a shuttleport.
Someone was able to buy a ticket and fly into town after the re-deeding, so I'm guessing there is one way travel.
I really hope this is fixed soon. I don't want to loose citizens because of a bugged shuttleport. I was just having success in bringing people into town and this can kill any recruitment.
Here's a few more (that I didn't notice in the list):
* Skill trainers still cost you City Maintenance even after they are remove. (Though they do not show in your count of trainers placed). How to replicate it: Placea skill trainer. Check your City Maintenance. Remove the trainer. Check your Maintenance (will be the same). Add another trainer. Check your Maintenance (will have gone up, despite having the same number of trainers as before the removal.)
* Income Tax: Okay, this one is killing me now. But after closely watching the treasury, I've concluded we're not seeing a single credit from the 2000 weekly tax paid by citizens. With 115 citizens, this should bring in 230,000 credits per week. Even if some of those citizens were flat broke and couldn't afford the tax, we should still see this increase if we watch the treasury level every day. Nothing... Also, the Income Tax seems to be on a different cycle than the City Update, it's off by a day or two, not sure if that's related.
And I'll repeat this one, since it sucks too:
* Sales tax: We're also not seeing this go into the treasury when items are sold.
It's kind of hard to make a City self-sufficient if two of the main sources of income are frickin broken. ![]()
