I just voted (yay) and barring a cherry bomb or anthrax at some post offices my civic duty is done.
For anyone else going absentee or just wanting info on the candidates before they hit the polls here is a great site that I was linked to on a different forum. It gives the nitty gritty about damn near everyone you can vote for beyond thingsat the county level.
Get out and vote! Unless of course you support the guy I'm against.

Well I voted dem twice and pub incumbent once so odds are it'll get counted. I wonder how many cemeteries are going democrat this year.

Absentee voting laws vary from state to state, however the should include the local canideates of what ever pricent you reside in. something is weird about that, i would call your county election commission and see whats up with that. IMO local canidates are the most important parts of voting. Most people don't realize how much power one vote can have in a local election. The canidates on the county and muni levels work very hard for a single vote. Don't forget to do research them a bit.

Except for coroner, I mean honestly what do I care? I'd be dead Besides, why and how is that a political position? Shouldn't it just be given to the most qualified and least likely to be a necropheliac?
As per your ballot not containing county lvl stuff, yeah something is wrong there. You should get the exact same ballot as people in the booths get only sans the chads. Either check up on it or write it off but either way that ain't right.

Get this.. two weeks ago I reported I decided to get my picture taken with one of the Mayoral candidates here in Edmotnon.. and last night HE WON!!!! Woot! I'm a celeb now! That picture gunna be famous! *cough* of course this was my political plot from the begining silently be seen in everything then have a pictorial archive to prove I've been in the loop always.

unlike the U.S..... we invited the queen over for tea in 1982 instead of dumping it in the harbour... and said she had to sign some legal tax forums and we tricked her into signing her rule over us away which letus run free in our Burning rusted submarines... which make excelent crash targets for the sea king helocopters btw... but nm that.. I think our troops will actually get ahh who am I kidding they'll never get the right combat fatigues ever.
Unfortchunantly due to the paperwork the Financial editor forgot to remove the "queens face must be on all coinage for use in betting heads or tails contests for use in hockey games and grey cup games."
So you see we're no longer under the rule of the queen.. (May god save her) and .. no one wants to deal with the quebec issue and duel language laws bs... so we're quite safe from attacks.. or at least we feel noone wants our frozen tundra...
