Yeah, while in beta the Devs took full reign when it came to dumb ideas and refused to listen to the community. It was kind of irksome because they asked for peoples help to make JTL fun than they made up their minds on things like this and wouldn't listen to anyone. Don't expect this to change, and if you yell to loudly about it they will come and erase your thread. Welcome to the Devstopo.

LOL
The only reason for that is so that IDs will have to congregate in the static tents making them easy to find............. ID is a service profession........... SW is a product profession................. it's completely different.

naw, its because why bother there are probably only 5-10 master ID's on each server anyway since there is no hologrinding lol

See my reply in the main thread, but the problem is less that the trainer can't be placed and more the attitude that it reveals towards player cities. We're not a priority, and the devs seem bent on giving people further reason *not* to live in a PC. I just don't see any other way to read this one.
I hardly htink not having an immediate trainer makes someone not want to be in a PC lol
There are too many other advantages

such as?
The social aspect? cuz NPC cities have all the stuff we have, and more, you can use the bank there for storage, and drop a house just outside the limits for more storage (no taxes either). It would be easier not to live in a PC, but we do it because we like to have our "own" city. We enjoy the satisfaction when an outsider comes through and says, "wow this place is great." My city has been steadily declining in population over the last couple of weeks, we will be starting a recruiting drive soon, but it just goes to show that some people feel the inconvienience of PCs.
