Player medical centers are 2 lots, if I remember correctly. To place one you must be master doctor. It is not a civic structure, so the player is responsible for lots and maintenance. That also means you can charge for admission, if believe.

A dev said yesterday that it was a bug that the mayor's vote does give experience, so it should be fixed for everyone's second election. It is designed that if someone doesn't go to the voting terminal and cast a vote, they automatically vote for the incumbant mayor.

I too would like to know what would happen if there's a tie and neither of the tied candidates is the incumbant. I don't think a runoff election is designed intot he system... i asked the question last week, but have not heard anything yet.

If a cities rank drops below what is required for a structure then it goes inactive for one cycle. If you are still unable to support that structure at the end of that cycle it is destroyed.

This should be in the FAQ

Did you read the FAQ?

Im sure you were smart enough to read the FAQ before posting in our forums.

I have a question...

what if

incumbant mayor gets x number of votes

there are two other opposing politicians running for mayor in the same player city

the other two politicians get x+1 votes

for instance

incumbent gets 10 votes other politician1 gets 11 votes and other politician2 gets 11 votes

who wins?

sorry for copy posting but nobody will comment on this!

Instead of posting the same post over and over again set up an election to happen that way and find out. If it is unlikely to happen than why worry about it now wait for the situation to happen.

it's called planing and being prepared for any future eventualities

if it can happen then it's your job to figure out how it'll work out

either that or you don't care... if that's the case give up your position to someone who does

Maybe because no one knows and it just pisses them off that you clutter the board with the same post making it harder for people to find good info and further clogging the boards. Most cities this will never be an issue in anyways. You can never plan for any eventuality. If you think you are you missed something. So you only bother with what is likely to happen KeliG.

I see you and I flint are going to be an interesting pair on here...

but although I agree you can't plan for every eventuality, you should at least try to plan for those that you can think of... If you think it it can happen, unless of course it's physically impossible, then try to figure it out...

example: some one a few weeks back was trying to figure out what would happen if two city halls where planted at the same time.... physical imposibility... everything that happens gets written into a database and no two records can be written at the same time... hence never happen... wasted thread.. at least it was wasted after the 4th or 5th post when the truth came out... so the other 50 replies were a waste

Here although it may be highly unlikely, in can very easily happen... hell, I have 3 pols in my city... they are smart enough not to run against me lol but it adds validity to this topic

The fact remains that NO ONE KNOWS the answer, so arguing about what not to talk about is way off topic. Let's stick to things related to "concerning your first election."

all you peeps who are flaming me for asking the question again are just upset because you did not think of the possibility of that happening first...

let's make some use of this thread and trade ideas on what may really happen

maybe the opposing politician that has a name that comes first alphabetically wins?

Hi,

I just putup a city hall and at the maintenance screen it says 35000 credits maintenance. But when I want to set taxes it says "need at least city rank 2" . So should I collect the money personally or what?? If I can't set taxes yet how should I pay the City Hall?

Thnx,

ChMartok
