Thread: Player City FAQ v1.1
I am planning on placing our theatre. If I were to ever drop Master Dancer, would the theatre be destroyed?

Don't be such a cry-baby - Player Cities are great most people involved with them are enjoying them - we had 5 citizens when we first placed our City Hall and now we have over 80 people living in Darkfire!
Player cities have provided a huge boost to the game and SOE should be congratulated on a great achievement.
Naturally, there has to be a limit on the number of cities, and you simply didn't make the cut as you were too slow, or weren't as focused as those who did make the cut.
So stop whining and join someone else's city, or just terminate your account and go and play something easier!
I have a question concerning the city hall placement.
I understand you can't place the city hall within 1000m of another city. What is the minimum distance it has to be from the map wall (zone wall), can it be closer than 1000m? If so how close can you place it?
As a master doctor I was asked to placed a med center for a city I was a resident of. When I placed the med center and it took up some of my land slots. The Med Center also requiered me to put down some money for maintness. I have noticed othercities having their Med Center listed intheir city structure listbutit does not currently appear in my cities structure list. How do I transfer the Med Center structure to the City so I can free up my land slots and have the city pay for maintness?
okay you can probably take your city hall right up against the zone wall, however this is a waste of half of your cities radius so see little point in it, if you want you back up against the wall i suggest you plant 450 meters from the zone wall (which is the maximium radius a player city can grow to)
City hall takes up NO lots at all (though you will get a mail saying how many lots you have left , suggesting you have used lots but you will not use lots i assure you) if you lose an election the building automatically transfers to the new mayor (if it looks like your about to lose then i suggest you remove all your stuff becuase the new mayor will be the only with access to it)
med centre this uses player lots and that player will have to pay maintenance just like a house, the building is only listed as a civic structure with regards to the size of the city neccesary to actually allow a player to plant one of these buildings

I know the diffrence in the city terminal that liststructures the city can have at the cities current rank and what city structurs are part of the city and feed off the cities treasury. I have seen cities with the med center listed in the latter list. So in a sence the med center was owned by the city and maintained by the cities treasury. So I know it is possible to have the catina and med center to be city property and maintained by the city treasury. I want to know how to do it.

if you want to have a factioned city put it in the corner of the map............ this way you will only be attackable from 2 sides
