The decision of our senate meeting is that since the 'policy' is not in our jurisdiction, nor the requesting cities, we will take no action. We will not issue any dictate to our citizens on where or when they can harvest, nor will we make any suggestion as to such.
Especially not with 4 harvesters 400 meters from our city hall with 'property of xxx'
Shot themselves in the foot I think. If you want mutual respect, you should give it first.
Very good, this is how mayors are suppose to deal with situations. They ask for advice and act with the best interests of their citizens in mind, you are off to a good start imo. Demplomacy is needed in these kinds of things and they obviously didnt leave much room for it.
