Thread: Politician FAQ: under construction...
Bajeezus,
I haven't seen this anywhere so maybe it needs to go in the FAQ.
I was recently levelling my second char up through politician, had a few votes on that char. The city cycle came through and as designed the encumbant won the election and my other char was removed from the race. I went back and re-enrolled for the next election, and I noticed that all my votes from last week wereinstantly transferred to me (same number as last week), and taken from the mayor.
It seems that the game remembers who voted foryou last week and reapplies them to you if you choose to re-run again. This makes it much easier for people that are running a multi-week campaign for mayor, to try and get votes. They just need to keep re-running and adding new people to their supporters, and they don't need to continually bug people that have already voted for them.
Hi all
I have made a small excel file for citys so you can calculate the taxes so it fits your city.

It's not perfect and probably have some errors. Might be newer costs and so on..
Please feel free to post te corrections.

To continue the XP question.. how do you even get politician XP so you can become a novice politician? It looks like the only profession you have to get experience for before you can pay for the novice level. There must be ways to acquire the XP before you even start the city.
The xp needed for novice politician is the same as is needed for all master titles. You have to be active in other professions in order to become a politician, basically you have to teach others your skills and earn apprentice points, 500 of them in order to qualify for novice politician
