Thread: Fighting mad yet again
I'm a little less than enthused about this myself.
I'm still experiencing the bug that says I haven't logged on in a while and it's throwing my guild up for election. And yes, I log on almost every day.
So if a simple thing like aPA can say I'm nor around and throw my guild open to the consequences, imagine how thrilled I am that all of a sudden people that I'm standing there talking with get hit with "you haven't logged on in a while and we rolled up your houses).
Also consider that people drop multiple houses. Say you dropped 2 mediums and they are all full. Will your safety deposit box allow for 400 items or just 100?
The good news only comes if they do tell the mayor so I can warn people in advance to hold onto their cookies.
Simply put, if they didn't nerf the buildings in the first place by taking maintenance out of people's bank accounts, MANY of the buildings in my city and around the servers would already have gone "poof". I still have someone's harvesters on the outskirts that have been smoking for over a month!
I'd rather they undo what they did a while ago with maintenance than tamper with the system again. I think it would be safer.

Just didn't happen with some people.
Again, if they just let buildings decay and go away again problem solved, no muss, no fuss. I am generally a big supporter of SOE, and love the CU from the start. But this smells.
And I haven't even touched on guildmembers who left the game and I've been upkeeping their houses so I can have extra storage. Those will go poof too. lol No, no. Leave alone. "No touchy!"
