I think number 5, 4 and 3 are improtant. I want my player city to be imp dominated any reb comes in BLAST EM lol. But the first should stay the same but add more benefits. If the ylowered the skil points cost then every1 would be grabbing mayor wit spare skill points and mass over throws would be happening everywere. Noob mayors with like one skill box thinking wouldnt it be funnyif we destroyed some1 city by getting elected instead of them

I would like to push making politician like pilot and have no skill point cost. Not that many people are interested in it, and the way it is now is such a thankless job a lot of the time, people who don't want to budget or are unable to budget money into their monthly entertainment to pay for another account in order to have politician.
A lot of the people who have politician in order to run cities are the ones that are doing the biggest part of the job in providing content to this game. We don't get paid for it, we Pay for it, and making us pay 2 times in order to do something once isn't fair. I love having my city, but Ican't justify2 accounts when I'm getting ready to have a wedding this summer when I could have 4 characters on one serverin Final Fantasy and only pay a dollar more than One character here.
It takes no skill points to run a guild.

City Chat Channel
And allow more city decorations.
We wanted to place streret lamps to light up the city, but could only do a small portion of the city.

We created a "City Chat" channel for our city. All you need to do is createda public chat channel and name it for your city. It has been great. We've never had anyone from outside the city use it and everyone loves it!

sorry about the delay, rl was getting to me
from our top 5 poll, here are the top 5 issues:
- politician skill point cost
- I saw on the Test Center that Politician will no longer require Skill Points. Personally I think this is cool but I also thing that it should at least take 15 to train it.
- It also concerns me that is it cost nothing to get, then lodgic would say that you get nothing for it. So maybe 0 SP is to far but reduce the SP requirment to master to 1 SP per box
- The "exploit" faction is to often used and I would fear of "bad elements"picking up politician for free and randonmly running for mayor tryingto catchpeople off guard
- master politician benefits
- Agreed!
- I was thinking that a Master Politican should be able to reduce maintaince cost of the city structuresby 20%
- One Ability I would like to have as a Master Politican is "City Expelled" when you (as Mayor and only the Mayor) can EXPEL a citizen of the city. In other wards, once expelled they have 1 month to get out of the city or everything is lost in their houses.
- city management tools: city ledger, ability to see structure owner, etc.
- more revenue sources: trainer/mission terminal profit
- Abig issue for me would be to placea "SpyNet Operative" - linked to a Master Politician Ability
- It would be nice if Player Cities got a "cut" of the Mission Payout from the terminal and trainer cost.
- better city defenses
- Agreed. We need City Warn back.
- We need to be able to add Faction Bases that increase the Spawn numbers and HAM of the spawns if the base is within the city.
- The higher the city rank, the higher in the increases in Spawn and HAM
issues such as fixing sales tax, "mayor of" title, shipwright trainers, increase decoration limit, etc., are included in a different document.
- "Mayor of ...." is a great idea, I'd be happy with just "Mayor" at this point.
do these look ok?
Looks good!

The problem is that it is public, not private. Anyone can join and berate your citizens or BHs can listen in to see what the jedis in your town are doing, etc. I have two incidents of people joining our city channel and harassing citizens. Each city upon its creation should get a private city channel in which the mayor or the selected militia are given moderator abilities over it.

I know these aren't high priority, but I would love to see us able to decorate our cloning centers and have the theatres fixed so that the viewing area can be used for healing.

I couldnt agree more with making Poli. require no SP at all. Either this or make them useful- c'mon.
Thanks

If you get any of these implemented (except the zero sp req. - too late since 12.1) then it will have a significant impact on the usefulness of the politician class.

K - here's my thoughts.
1) Cities get a % of monies paid to trainers.
2) Fix the sales tax and all other taxes that don't work/are bugged.
3) Allow evictions or relocations by the mayor (maybe a Master Politician ability?)
4) Allow slight terraforming. (I.e. In my city on Rori, there are puddles that are small (couple of meters across) but they can't be built over. A slight terraforming ability would allow us to build over impediments like that.)
5) Give other avenues for Politicians to gain XP. (I.e. - We use our persuasion to lobby others to join our city. Perhaps an XP gain for everyone who declare residency in our city. But then only once per person. Or a set amount of XP per citizen who is living in the city per week). Waiting three weeks to gain a box or two of skills sucks.
6) Allow for a Vice-Mayor or Assistant-Mayor who has most of the Mayor's abilities. This would allow things to happen if the mayor goes on a vacation or something in real life.

It is possible to decorate cloning center *carefully*, you just can't move anything or it teleports into the top of the cloning chamber. And move up doesn't work either. Ok it's limited i know, but you do what you can. :/
