Thread: Time for me to collect some issues
I'll do one of each
Please fix - Structure Management (players houss) -- Emails going to players telling them they are citizens when they are not. Getting more "There's a structure in your city" than there actually are. I LOVE THE WAYPOINT IDEA Send the WP, that would help.
Please don't "fix" - Milita granting zoning rights. -- If you do remove it, please replace it with someone else. If I have to log in everytime someone wants to drop a factory or harvester, I'll go crazy.

1. I've experienced a great deal of ghosting problems especially in Player Cities and at other server boundaries.
2. You can only grant zoning rights outside of buildings.
3. Sorry Plink, that's all I got.
1. No bazaars in player cities
2. No listing of who owns structures
3. Militia has zoning rights.... why?
1. Pre-Zone Blocks! A mayor (or assign City Planner) should be able to place (blocks) that allow (x size) item to be place. This way a Mayor can designate areas for improvment.. (i.e. District A have 10 block for small 3 block for med etc etc) this can be done (or should be) with pre-place foundation (cost city maint) that way new players can just place a new house on the foundation when given rights. (or even better yet.. assign rights via termina.. Citizen Sasheria is given right to block 15 for a house)
2. Roads... right now we have artifical roads (carefully place houses to make line up to make it look like roads) but no graphics (other than street lights)
3. Zones... Overall control zone should be always 500m radius BUT mayor cannot use that land OR place in them (via grantzoneright) until sufficient city level..... this is good to promote city growth since mayor cannot access the "unuse land" until population size increase. This will also reduce "hostile takeover" and promote more "political takeover" as mention by the Devs
1) Establishment of Council with zoning rights. Removal of zoning rights from police. Establishment of police ranks.
2) More robust placement and rotation ability for city decorations. Reduction of maintenance on city decorations like streetlights. Greater draw distance on same.
3) Establishment of MANDATORY city chat channel, much like how you AUTOMATICALLY get guildchat when you join a guild. If you force someone to have a means of communication, they just might use it.

Part 2
1. City hall - CANNOT BE DESTROY unless have over 80% vote or unanimus.
2. Divide Grantzoneright to city planners and milita have only ban/pardon
3. Overhead view (via the terminal) of area of control (like the circle of areas and houses in them) and showing the max size also.
1. Remove the / commands from city structures that are not meant to have them.
2. Make /cityban work right.
3. Do NOT allow a Mayor to single-handedly destroy a City Hall, and, thus, a City.
1- Ability to grant individuals abilty to grant zoning rights
2- FIX EXP POINT BUG
3- Remove ability to destroy city hall
3- Flatten terrain inside city.....like NPC's
3- Street tiles.....
1a) Realism :: More "City-like" decoration. Pavement, walls, bridges, signs, etc. Drastically raise the Decoration Cap, or make small objects (like streetlights) not count.
1b) Atmosphere :: Faction-specific functionality AND decorations. Allow and/or exclude factions from having access to cloning ctr, shuttleports, etc. Allow the ability to place faction-related decorations like the Imp/Reb banners, perhaps military hardware, etc. One example would be stuff like you see while doing faction missions, such as the enclosed area with the AT-ST "head" orthe parkedX-Wing or something. Maybe treat them as gardens?
2) Mayor and Militia/Councilshould be able to Examine a structure and see the owner's name. This is just common sense from a City Planning standpoint. Also, the waypoint idea in the Structure Added email is a great idea.
3) MOTD for entering and leaving the city limits would be great!
1) Building Identification: a) Mayors should always be able to determine the owners name of any structure within the city limitsb)Mayors should always get a WP to any building created within the city.
2) A more detailed break down of taxes so that Mayors know what services are generating revenue and which are not.
3) Roads / Tiles / Ground leveling: a) Used to pave city b) used to reserve specific peices of land for future structures c)Used to connect cities and and give bonuses to speed travel and possibly safety i.e. reduced chance of MOBs spawning along route
1) Eliminate auto-vote. People shouldn't get xp credit for votes they did not actually receive.
2) Keep terrain restrictions but do allow for maintenance cost roads that willsmooth overan area while maintained.
3) RAISE THE PLAYER CITY CAPS!
Gatuu Tetsu of Lowca
1. Require a 75% vote or higher in order for a mayor to have ability to destroy city hall. Or have a seven-day timer to complete the process.
2. More detail on city income. List amount for each tax, as well as total donated. This should be available for current week as well as previous cycle. (I want anonymous donations to stick. People shouldn't be hunted down for not donated. Taxes affect everyone as designed.)
3. Ability to see structure names on overhead map (ctrl-M) when the city isn't registered. Some cities may not want to be on the world map, but it's a big inconvenience to try to find a cantina when all the buildings look similar....
things that have been said but i agree with. more people that respond the better, right?
1) City Hall being destoryed... make it a vote
2) Street Tiles and everything else that makes a city look like a city. we should be able to place most of the things that NPC cities have!
3)Options for a city council etc. my town wants to make a town constitution with a city concil behind it. Councilmen would basically be people who help run the town with the mayor. They are people who want to get involved with city politics but who do not want to get the politican class(or the xp for it). Maybe have the council voted by the people, but every couple weeks instead of everyweek. Or have the mayor pick. Either way, this could be a GOOD WAY to help prevent city halls being destroyed and etc. Give the council the power to veto the mayor so its not simply a "VOTE FOR YOUR DICTATOR FOR THE WEEK"
the dude abides...
