I'd like to see a new citizen type other than Militia. Administrator. They have the ability to manpiulate taxes, grant zoning rights and place public structures/decorationsas the city level and current mayor's skillallows.
That'd be a cool idea. Maybe have it so it allowed other policians who weren't mayor to fall into this citizen type. I mean, unless you're mayor, being a politician is useless.
I'd also suggest having "walls". So long as you couldn't full enclose a structure or area.
Also, bridges, and stairs would be a good addition.
1) Bazaars, Bazaars, Bazaars
2) A terminal somewhere that we can give shop waypoints within the city.
3) A way for people in the city to get messages out to the other citizens, without having to email me (the mayor) and have me forward it on.
4) A way to orginize the city. Possibly the citizens have to give permission to the mayor. That would be fun. It would be like Sim City. ![]()
5) To keep /citywarn
6) A detailed way of seeing where the treasury money is coming from.
7) Oh and Bazaars
1. Alphabetize the member lists
2. Break up miltia skills into assignment admin rights, like with PA halls so that a militia member can have /cityban without getting /zoningrights for example.
3. City chat channel
4. /eject command which forces a redeed on any home in the city, 2 weeks from teh time of the command.
5. Removal of faction terminals as placeable items within cities.
6. The abilitty to wall in a city, with gates.
7. Reduced footprints on turrets and covert detectors for city placement
8. A City Charter that players can view from the planetary map to find out the rules and culture of each city.
- City Chat Channel that all residents can use, like a guildchat.
- Message of the day that describes if the city is neutral/reb/imp/RP or a combination thereof. Also includes the primary laws of that city.
- Detailed treasury reports. This includes how much income is earned from donations and taxes, with each donation labeled as to the giver and each tax broken down individually so we can better judge how to set the taxes.
- Bazaar terminals.
- Bridges
- Keeping /citywarn
- Alphabetized resident lists
- Mayors can see who owns what structures.
1) Bazaars
2) Citizen Chat Channel
3) Customize the PC welcome message
4) Streets / gateways / bridges
5) (This might seem a bit strange, but I will throw it out there anyway) The ability to go to the top of a city placed look out tower or the City Hall itself and be able to view the city at once. I'd love to be able to do this, as the overhead map has its limits for planning out the design of the city. It would allow us to take in terrain features and such to plan our next structure placement.

Remove the ability for the mayor to destroy the city hall, thus destroying the city itself. I've seen a lot of thread about the fears over this; everything from people threatening to do it if they ever get voted out (grow up), to people fearing hostile take-overs and then having their hard earned city destroyed.
The ability to destroy the city hall should simply NOT exist. Once it's placed that's it, the only way it should fall is if there is no mayor or your city goes bankrupt.
I'd like to see the city chat channel too, but only after they fix chat channels in general. Who uses guild chat channels? (even when they ARE working)
Roads/pavement both as part of the footprint of buildings placed in the city, but also as placeable tiles by the mayor. Could even allow for different styles when erecting a building
Change /cityban to a command that physicaly ejects someone from the city and not just bans them from public buildings. (although banning them from public buildings would be nice too)
NPC police or security (for smaller cities) force that will assist in the defence of citizens from other players (or NPCs/MOBs, but will take all the XPs to prevent exploiting) that will only go as far as the city limits.
