Thread: This week in politics: 3/14/05
The game lacks the mechanics to allow cities to manage their finances, donations are all that is left - this has to be addressed, but I dont expect much dev love any time soon.
We are slowly increasing our numbers and moving towards Metropolis rank at a steady pace, we have some fantastic crafters and one of the best cantina's in the galaxy
As with any city its the community of people that make it work, all else is there to help them, but even if it was not there, the community would be

The new draw range is an awesome sight to behold. I can now see my whole city all laid out from a peak on my city line. Now at last you can see your hard work in setting up your city, even though I knew we had a large city (116 residents and 220+ structures) the first time you can really see it all at once makes a huge difference. So if you have not experienced this dramatic new enhancement just drop in to TC-Prime to see it, great thing is any character can take advantage since there is no skill needed to to just lookG'naMayor of the Metropolis of Skystone, Tatooine on TC-Prime(1500m west of Mos Entha)
I have, but I haven't had time to step out of NU

Emerald City has had a semi-eventless week. Sales in the mall have seemed to pick up with the planetary search function, allowing yet another source of income for the city (75% of the vendors are mine, and I dump cash to the city when I have it
Hoping to get some pictures of the city with the new draw distance as soon as possible.

for those of you who've experienced the "disappearing 'city info' tab", I've reported it on the corr forum but haven't received any replies from a dev. other correspondents have experienced similar problems, and my personal guess to the issue would be that it's lag-related and was introduced in the last publish somehow. the odd thing is that while TC generally doesn't have much lag, I'm still experiencing this problem in my city hall. please remember to /bug it
I sumbitted this directly to QA when I noticed, and they assured me that they were already hard at work on the issue
actually, I got a reply from Tiggs that they've bugged this after I made this post. stop bugging the QAs
