Out city - Two Rivers, Talus, Farstar is doing very well. I have recently taken over as mayor and these early days are an important time to get a hold of all city matters. This forum and this thread are a great source of information.

The game lacks the mechanics to allow cities to manage their finances, donations are all that is left - this has to be addressed, but I dont expect much dev love any time soon.

We are slowly increasing our numbers and moving towards Metropolis rank at a steady pace, we have some fantastic crafters and one of the best cantina's in the galaxy

As with any city its the community of people that make it work, all else is there to help them, but even if it was not there, the community would be

Hey Pappi,

I've noticed something new in the last week... and not sure if it's a bug or not. I go to the city terminal and have my three options:

1) Examine

2) City Info

3) City <whatever... can't remember what it is called>

I select #2 to view the treasury report (let's face it.. this is a huge thing to keep tabs on). Shows me the info. Select the radial again to say... look at the citizen report.. and I now only have two options where City Info is no longer there:

1) Examine

2) City <whatever... can't remember what it is called>

Any thoughts?

Well I sure do read this thread

All I can say is if you have not been on Test Center within the last few days you are missing something. The new draw range is an awesome sight to behold. I can now see my whole city all laid out from a peak on my city line. Now at last you can see your hard work in setting up your city, even though I knew we had a large city (116 residents and 220+ structures) the first time you can really see it all at once makes a huge difference. So if you have not experienced this dramatic new enhancement just drop in to TC-Prime to see it, great thing is any character can take advantage since there is no skill needed to to just look

Emerald City, Dantooine - Test Center

Emerald City has had a semi-eventless week. Sales in the mall have seemed to pick up with the planetary search function, allowing yet another source of income for the city (75% of the vendors are mine, and I dump cash to the city when I have it Hoping to get some pictures of the city with the new draw distance as soon as possible.

for those of you who've experienced the "disappearing 'city info' tab", I've reported it on the corr forum but haven't received any replies from a dev. other correspondents have experienced similar problems, and my personal guess to the issue would be that it's lag-related and was introduced in the last publish somehow. the odd thing is that while TC generally doesn't have much lag, I'm still experiencing this problem in my city hall. please remember to /bug it

I sumbitted this directly to QA when I noticed, and they assured me that they were already hard at work on the issue

actually, I got a reply from Tiggs that they've bugged this after I made this post. stop bugging the QAs

Well, my city turned three weeks old this week, and I got my first xp as a mayor. I'm a 2-2-2-3 Politician now. My city still has 13 citizens, of which only three are active players who are not alts. /sigh I plan to start trying to recruit more. Otherwise, not much is going on here.

InSeptember our former mayor quit and turned the city over to me. Except I had to run against the inertia of the inactive default votes! I didn't get in until the new rules hit...

Then it was a struggle to keep enough new residents coming in to replace the ones leaving. Hanging on to the shuttle with 56 residents... 55...

I just checked the rosters. 93 citizens, 47 votes. I coulda won this one by the -old- rules!

Every thing is doing well in my city.

I was wondering if there were any future plans to have some more player city type buildings.. such as hotels and other type of guild halls. One idea that would be goodfor player cities could be anew buildingthat could serve as a merchent hall. It could be a place where merchants could have special shops.

Overall... I am very pleased with being a politician. I just wish that there could be some new exciting options that could be added to the player cities. New buildings, allowing more trainers to be placed, and expansion of city limits would help already successful cities become more successful.
