Strawberry
\Straw"ber*ry\, n. [AS. stre['a]wberige; stre['a]w straw + berie berry; perhaps from the resemblance of the runners of the plant to straws.] (Bot.) A fragrant edible berry, of a delicious taste and commonly of a red color, the fruit of a plant of the genus Fragaria, of which there are many varieties. Also, the plant bearing the fruit. The common American strawberry is Fragaria virginiana; the European, F. vesca. There are also other less common species.
No clue why it isn't considered a Berry though..
As for Peko Peko.. I think they are classified as Reptavians.

according to here:
"As a subcategory of fruits, berries are yet another story. A berry is an indehiscent (not splitting apart at maturity) fruit derived from a single ovary and having the whole wall fleshy. Berries are not all tiny, and they're not all sweet. Surprisingly, eggplants, tomatoes and avocados are botanically classified as berries. And the popular strawberry is not a berry at all.
Botanists call the strawberry a "false fruit," a pseudocarp. A strawberry is actually a multiple fruit which consists of many tiny individual fruits embedded in a fleshy receptacle. The brownish or whitish specks, which are commonly considered seeds, are the true fruits, called achenes, and each of them surrounds a tiny seed."

If you're going to baffle us by telling us what things aren't, how about sharing what they actually are?

If you want to keep strawberries healthy try keeping the soil just a little acidic.. Strawberries are very closely related to Roses, so just treat like a rose vine and they should grow well.

Anyone here an actual politician/poli sci major or anything? I mean it's close to a given to assume that we're all politically aware and possibly active but does anyone actually put on a suit and tie and make governmental decisions during their offline time? Closest I get to that is taking a couple poli sci courses as core requirements over duller crap classes.

Welcome to the Political Subcommitee on Debate and Dialogue.
We've got a great community within the political profession and I figure we should get a spot just to chat. True, there is the weekly post Pappi continues on, but that is fairly on the topic of what occured in your town the past week. This will be a forum for a less formal discussion between politicians ranging in all manner of topics. Feel free to stonewall, filibuster, and dilly dally. No question will be taboo and no scandal shameful. It goes without saying, but lay off of libel and ad hominem attacks, also please don't let this chat thread turn into a long rant against the developers.
The chairman yields the floor.
Yes, this idea was heavily influenced by the great DVader's rifleman hall in the rifleman forum.
oooh! its a forum congress and like the poli dev and the RL congress we can talk about issues, make resolutions and initiatives and watch as nothing changes! yes!
