Other than what the devs said at FanFest (that being houses would be rolled up into the bank and cities would be suspended at current level for city repair time), dates, time frames, expired times, et al is speculation. Untila red name comes in and gives detailed info, there isn't any. They said the ability to roll up a house with inventory was nearing completion and eventually would be a built in tool to assist in moving houses. And even what we know from FF is subject to change since it was just spoken, not documented and diseminated to us.

Ok this whole thing has got me thinking.

If they are going to roll up these houses and place them and the inventory of the items in these houses the amount of items stored in a bank would have to be increased by alot!

This has gotten me to think and the more i think the more worried I have become. If these banks increase the item ammount will the carry over to active players also? UH-OH? If all the sudden everyone can place 500 items in a safty deposit why have a house? This would put alot of architecs out of business and would certainly kill hundreds of player cities.

I hope the devs will look at this from this point of view. This whole purge maybe a double ended sword

Double edged... means it cuts us twice.

Double ended would mean the programmers got a stab. Delightful thought, but won't happen.

The banks aren't going to get an increase in size. They'll just be overloaded until the house is taken out of it, meaning nothing else can be added in until it's back under 100 items.
