I would like not see post like this from a corespondent. We have a lot of issues that should keep you plenty busy. Maybe finish answering the questions post or something. This is a waste of your time to listen to silly rantings of people. You do what you were selected to do, and those that appeciate your work will defend you without you having to say a word. This is the politicians forum, not a way to act immature.

i wont sign but i dont feel that this is a good use of your time and neither was i impressed by your mental ego flexing on the "please explain to me thread." if you dont want the job quit, if you do want it great but please try and remeber that as corrspondant you have to maintain a level of professionalism. please dont stir up trouble; this and that previos post seem to be aimed at stiring up trouble. As mayor im never happy to see a tool in the box leave, but i had personally seen /citywarn abused so much this is no real surprise.Plinka, you are obviously and intelligent and diligent person whom has a sincere interest in the politican profession development, but that aside you need to reign your ego in more.

This thread was made because of two reasons; 1) People were curious why a group of players were asking her to be removed; and 2) People asked for a place to to talk about why they wanted her removed.

Mind you, this is an open forum, and not just the nay-sayers get to say nay here Those of us that support her have every right to defend her, just as people have a right to degrade her.

You again are completely correct, but by the same respect, part of the Correspondent's position is acting in a mature and communicative manner. Again, I ask you, what would be more effective and diffuse the situation . . . this thread (which face it, really is nothing more than a smart-ass slam at the people), or something more explanitory, constructive, and informative?

Sorry for the double post, I think my posts will be back to back, but Plinka is probably the most hard working corespondant in the game. Look at the top of our forum. All of those sticky threads are there to help players, answer questions, etc. I have yet to see a forum that has a corespondant present so much information openly to the players. I can see that sometimes not everyone may agree with her, or the way she does things, but the point is, she does a lot for us. She has even had the audacity to give us info the dev's didn't want us to have. If that isn't being on our side, I don't know what is.

Well, this thread varies in the eyes of the beholder. I don't see this thread as a slam against people, but a forum that she has provided for people to discuss their unhappiness with her in. We all have different opinions and views. And, believe it or not, but even the worst rant is productive in some ways. Everyone has different views and different ways of expressing those views.

I look at this thread as one of two scenarios.

1. You don't want to be correspondent anymore but rather than quitting you want to be able to say you were asked to stepdown. If this is the case and you want to quit, then quit.

2. You need a few pat on the backs. While this is fine, being a correspondent is not supposed to be glamorous position, it is supposed to be work...which you volunteered for.

While you are definately entitled to your own viewpoint on your class, that does not mean yor position as correspondent gives your particular point of view any more credence than that of someone else who plays the class. Your job as a correspondent is to relate to the devs what the majority of the people playing the class view as problems or fixes needed, not what you personally view as critical. You are a carrier of information for your class, not a policy maker.

It's up to you, if you want to be a correspondent, then BE a correspondent, otherwise step down and let someone else take over. Either way be appreciative of thanks and kind words but don't expect it or think you are entitled to it.

I think that was more of a matter of miscommunication between the two parties . . . my guess is that she was either given permission to post that, or truely thought she was, and the Devs either forgot or thought she acted intentionally above her granted position. But that is theory only.

Plinka, I only hope you are able to come back and post something a little more level-headed shortly.

For anybody who has been monitoring these forums since they were created, it is obvious that if they knew the old plinka, that these remarks are without a doubt a smart ass way to express her dissatifaction with the current events that have transpired within the last couple of weeks. Simply saying that this is not the case is being completely close minded and a fanbois of plinka.

1. She fails to provide us with timely information regarding our profession
2. She fails to represent our viewpoint to the developers
3. She fails to test the features of the profession and its accoutrements
4. She fails to report the bugs of the profession
5. She fails to seek arguments that may be used to sway the developers
6. She fails to give up all of her time to babysit us when there is a problem in our galaxy
7. She uses the term ASCII in a slanderous manner

Aye I bet she well, I really truely believe, as she stated, that this thread was only to inform people why people wanted her removed, and to give people a place to express their desire to have her removed. And this thread is constructive. In providing a forum for people to complain about her, there should nolonger be 500 threads on wanting her removed. Also, when you ask your "enemy" why they are your enemy, you learn. Knowledge is power. And when you know why people are displeased, you can learn to correct, or adjust, to displease them less. There can be a lot to gain from a thread such as this.

Actually, I believe there were two, and in them not as many responses in favor of the action. This is the action of sour grapes, not constructive discussion.

Granted, talking about the breal down of our forum, and the removal of our corespondant is not constructive. However, giving a forum, and voice, to all sides of an issue is constructive.

Plinka, even though I am not as active posting here, I read often. You have done a wonderful job. Love the tongue in cheek humour, though it does derive from frustration. All I have to say is ignore the asshats.
