as for moving condemned houses (or moving houses in general), we've talked about this for a long time. we even brought it up last fanfest, and they told us their ideas. it didn't get implemented, but they were going to do another purge which would "pack up" houses and the stuff inside into an inactive account's characters' bank. that hasn't happened yet, and I'm guessing it's because they want folks to come back fo the CU and the new expansion. I tried to suggest that they include inactive characters (instead of just cancelled accounts), but no word on that.

I'm all for help with bringing up the purge again to the devs

At Celebration 3, Tigg's made it pretty clear that it is the farthest thing from SOE's thoughts right now. I said it back when it was announced and I'll say it again. They would rather close down the game than purge canceled or banned accounts. SOE will chase down and try thier damnedest to reclaim lost players at current players expence for as long as they are in business. The simplest of ideas on this is met with flat out refusal to talk, deal or consider at all levels of development.

The way I see it from SOE's stand point is we have our skills for free and it is not a madatory thing for us to make cities. Therefore, why should they (the Dev's) invest the time and effort in something that is not effecting a large portion of the community?
