maybe test it like that, would be nice to know if its at least affecting healing:

get a mind disease weapon and let the mind of someone get diseases to cap until he is down at 1. At very best get a mind fire weapon those will make BF to 1k shortly and also heavy mind wounds.

at next get someone picking up novice entertainer, and then look how long it takes to heal all this. and then do the same again without spec. I think with such "slow" test it should be clearly possible to find out if its working.
