Thread: Entertainment District seems to be broken ... sort of

Entertainment Disrict only effects enterainers, dude!
Make's sense doesn't it?
Dude! Check my sig, you dork ... I'm a master dancer. Sheesh.
Entertainment District- 80k credits / week Entertainer healing is 10% more effective in an 'Entertainment District'.
Medical Center- 80k credits / week Medical healing is 10% more effective in a 'Medical Center'.
You have apparently never been in a city set as a Medical Center or you would know that the reason a lot of people use this setting is because it gives a large bonus to buffs. My whole point in this thread is that entertainer buffs and healing do not seem to be affected in any of the tests I used. They are described as doing the Exact same thing for their respective professions.
I was asking if anyone else has checked this out to see - you two decided to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. Yes, that's a form of flaming.
Now if anyone who Does know what I'm talking about can help with this - I'm really curious to see if someone else has determined the same thing as I have.

I would consider it more of an "oversight in game design" than a bug. since it's not a bug it's not high priority on my "list of things to bug the devs to fix", but feel free to send in /bug reports requesting this to be changed.

as a master dancer, I'm sure you know that we have our own skill mod for buffing. doctors don't, so their "medical healing" is the skill that affects buffing... which is why they buff extra in a medical center.

That's true ... I hope it's something they think about at some point. The thing is, I didn't really notice a difference in healing either. That's the main part of what was making me think it is broken, not so much the buffs since they work differently anyway, as you pointed out. Has anyone gone through testing the different settings at all?
