Thread: Politician Skill Tree and City Statistics (Version 0.5)
I've been trying to keep track of everything that's been going on, but sometimes I just want the straight numbers
I put together an Excel file I dumped onto the web and offer it up to anyone who might find it useful:
http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze34zdu/Darniaq/SWG/PoliticianTree-Excel.htm
It is everything I know to date, some of which is probably wrong. If you find it useful, please let me know how it can be made better. If you find anything wrong, please post here or send me a private message here.
Thanks a ton that is a nice sheet. Are the 2nd level boxes really only 2500 XP now?

As of the other day's change, yep. But I've been away the past two days since posting this, so don't know if it's changed yet.
-Jebu- I'm hoping to post it somewhere everyone can have free access to it. Want to note your changes here? No problem for me to transcribe it until I find some space that allows FTP download. It'll help me keep up with the changes anyway ![]()
as far as these structures go how sure are you about them?
cantina 6x7?
hospital 6x7?
shuttle port 6x7?
Just that I was under the impression that the footprints were 7x7,5x5,5x7 respectively? Maybe my info was out of date I would just like a little confirmation as it affects our city planning somewhat.
Also the hospital does only take 3 lots! (cantina I have no idea on tho)
Does anyone know the sizes of fountains or the different gardens or statues. That would also help out a lot for us to plan out our cities.
Maller
I believe its 3x3 (small), 4x4 (medium), 5x5 (large), and 6x6 (exotics) for all the gardens.
and the Tatooine hospital is smaller than the cantina, My guess is the same size as a generic medium. its about the samesize asthe Theater which is actually really nice, it has an enterance in the back for the dancers to get ready and they can't fall off the stage into the audience. It even has raised seating so everyone can see 8)
Thank you for your responses!
Ok, it's been updated. I actually changed it around a bit too. Here's the changes:
Version 0.6- 11/6/03
- Added gardens
- Reformatted Structure Sizes tab
- Added "+Maintenance" column to show the fee added to the City maintenance
- Added "who can place" column to show, well, who can place the structure
- Changed name of "Structure Sizes" to "Structure Stats"
- Separated "structure stats" section into groups
- Added more structures, though not their relevant values, to "structure stats"
- Corrected mistake in Civic Policy IV on "Skill Tree" tab
- Combined City Sizes and Structure Stats
- Integrated additional city stats info from another thread (thanks Fueller!)
The link is the same:

This is by no means complete. I know it'll need to be updated when -Jebu- posts his info, and there's other things that probably have changed too.
When you visit the link, just be sure to hit "Refresh" or "Reload" or whatever your browser calls it to ensure you're getting the latest information.
And please keep the comments coming! I am hoping to have it 90% buttoned-up by the time the Cities go to the Live servers.
Darniaq,
I'm pretty sure some of your building sizes are inaccurate. Have you seen the player bank? There is no way it could be 7x7. I think it is in fact 3x3. Tatooine PA Halls are 5x9. I'm not trying to be the humbug here, I just think it's important that we get footprint sizes right. So many people are planing their city in a grid style and one grid square wrong and you'll have people reconfiguring their whole design. Some of the other city structures I've heard conflicting sizes on as well.
Also, no other structures are an even number by an even number (i.e. 4x4). Why would two park sizes be even numbers? This makes no sense, unless of course the devs have a sick sense of humor. These size parks could never be evenly lined up because EVERY other structure in the game has an odd number of squares on the front side.
We need definite answers on these sizes. There are so many conflicting numbers I don't know whose word to take for fact. ![]()
